a MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 21, 1971
The meeting was called to order at 7:45 P.M.
Present were Mayor Gottfried,and Aldermen Sapp, Narlock and Burgermeister.
Minutes of meeting held on July 7, 1971, were reviewed and placed on
file.
Mr. Gene Wagner, Agent for Hydra, Inc. , appeared in behalf of the
corporation's application for a Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage
and Intoxicating Liquor License at the Country Squire, S72 W16373
Janesville Road , Muskego.
The following people appeared to apply for Operator's Licenses:
Sandra Polak, 3701 W. Oklahoma Ave., Apt. #3, Milwaukee.
Michael Christianson, Big Bend, Wis.
David Moran, 8050A SlOO St., West Allis, Wis.
Ald. Sapp moved to recommend approval of Operator's License for
Sandra Polak and David Moran pending receipt of favorable Medical
and Fingerprint Reports. Seconded by Narlock, motion carried.
Ald. Sapp moved to recommend approval of Operator's License for
Michael Christianson pending receipt of favorable Fingerprint
Report. Seconded by Ald. Narlock. Motion carried.
Ald. Sapp moved for the approval of a Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage
and Intoxicating Liquor License for Hydra, Inc., Gene Wagner, Agent,
Seconded by Ald. Narlock, motion carried.
Mr. Seegar Swanson of Ehler and Associates presented a report on
the cy.c'.ated City Finance Plan. Following a lengthy discussion, it
was the Committee's opinion that the City should borrow $500,000.00
by General Obligation Bonds for permanent City financing.
Ald. Sapp moved to recommend payment of vouchers in the amount of
$147,690.64. Seconded by Narlock, motion carried.
Ald. Sapp moved to recommend that the City advertise by bids the
sale of city owned land on Durham Drive north of Woods Road. Sec-
onded by Narlock, motion carried.
Ald. Sapp moved to recommend the purchase of 200 copies of the City
Zoning Ordinance at a cost not to exceed $1,500.00. Seconded by
a
Ald. Narlock, motion carried.
Delinquent Personal Property Taxes for the years 1964-1969, as presented
in the City audit, were discussed. City Attorney Buckley is investi-
gating those that are uncollectible and when such report is received
action will be taken.
Verification by City Clerk as to payment of Sewerage Lagoon Rental @, difference between 1969 and 1970 payment was discussed. Ald. Narlock
suggested formula to be used which will be discussed with City Clerk.
