MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 19, 1971
The meeting was called to order ,at 7:OO P.M. by Mayor Gottfried. Also
present were Aldermen Burgermeister, Narlock and Sapp.
The Minutes of the previous meetings on May 5, 1971, and May 11, 1971,
were deviewed and placed on file.
The State of Wisconsin has remitted $3,000.00 as our first reimburse-
ment toward the cost of the Juvenile Officer.
Ald. Narlock moved to recommend that the City Clerk advertise for
bids for fuel oil and gasoline needs as the present contract has
expired. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister. Motion carried.
Ald. Sapp moved to recommend payment of vouchers in the amount of
$586,329.68, payable Hay 25, 1971. Seconded by Ald. Burgemeister.
Motion carried.
Ald. Burgermeister moved to recommend Council approval of increases
in License fees, effective July 1, 1972, as follows:
0
Class "B" $ 125.00
Class "B" Beer 75.00
Class "A" Liquor 125.00
Juke Box 10.00
Pool Tables 10.00
Game Machines 10.00
Cigarette Machines 10.00
Seconded by Ald. Narlock. Motion carried.
The following persons appeared to apply for Operators Licenses:
Gordon Herda S94 W13724 Ryan Dr., Muskego
John Lee Sparks 7132 W. Allerton Ave., Greenfield, Wis.
Norma. Bashirian 10120 S. Chicago Ave., Oak Creek, Wis.
Ald. Narlock moved to recommend Council approval of Operators Licenses
for Gordon Herda, John Lee Sparks and Norman Bashirian, subject to
receipt of favorable Medical and Fingerprint reports. Seconded by
Ald. Sapp. Motion carried.
Ald. Burgermeistcr moved to recommend Common Council approval of
license applications as per the attached list. Seconded by Ald. 0 Narlock. Motion carried.
Mr. Gilbert P. DuSold, 311 Morey St., Waukesha, Wis., appeared to
apply for a Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor
License. Ald. Sapp moved to recommend Council approval of Mr. DuSold's
application, subject to the necessary publication requirements.
