FCM19701216FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 16, 1970 The meeting was called to order at 7:lO P.M. by Mayor Gottfried. Also present were Aldermen Narlock, Wollman, Sapp and Dwyer. The minutes of the previous meeting held on December 2, 1970, were received and placed on file. The following persons appeared to apply for Operator's Licenses. Robert Layman, W171 S7260 Lannon Dr., Muskego, Wis. Daniel P. Sullivan, 6537 S. 118th St. Hales Corners, Wis. John Paul Stachowski, W191 57192 Luehring Dr., Muskego, Wis. Dolores Deja, S82 W13237 Acker Dr., Muskego, Wis. Susan Robl, S74 W17330 Lake Dr. , Muskego, Wis. Patrycia Wilson, W125 S9681 N. Cape Rd., Hales Corners, Wis., appeared to apply for a Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License. Ald. Sapp moved to recommend Common Council approval of a Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License for Patrycia Wilson, subject to the necessary advertising. Seconded by Ald. Narlock. Motion carried. Ald. Narlock moved to recomend Council approval of an Operator's License for Robert Layman, subject to the receipt of a favorable Medical Report. Seconded by Ald. Wollman, motion carried. Ald. Wollman moved to recommend Council approval of an Operator's License for Daniel P. Sullivan. Seconded by Narlock, motion carried. Ald. Narlock moved to recommend Council approval of an Operator's License for John P. Stachowski, Dolores Deja and Susan Robl, subject _1 to receipt of favorable Medical atid Fingerpring Reports. Seconded by Ald. Wollman. Motion carried. Mr. Ross and Mr. Bogle, representatives of Wisconsin Life Insurance co. appeared to discuss and present information to the Committee on their company's Group Insurance Program. Ald. Narlock moved to recommend payment of vouchers in the amount of $224,053.52 and the payment of sewer vouchers in the amount of $287,611.75. Seconded by'Ald. Wollman. Motion carried. 0 e: 0 0 - e- o A check in the amount of $88,853.19 was received from the State of Wisconsin for the City's Utility Tax apportionment. Chief Kraus appeared to request permission to advertise for bids for three 1971 squad cars. Ald. Sapp moved to allow the Police Dept. to advertise for bids. Seconded by Ald. Narlock. Motion carried. - Chief Kraus requested that the Committee approve the expenditure of $1170<.00 to purchase an,:undercover vehicle. Seconded by Ald. Narlock, motion carried. A letter from National Suburban League was read regarding their activities o the past year and urgingjDur continuing support. Ald..Wollman moved to recommend that dues in the amount of $100.00 for membership be paid. Sec- onded by Ald. Narlock. Motion carried. Ald. Narlock moved to recommend payment of a voucher made payable to A1 karsen in the amount of $200.00. . After explanation by Ald. Burgermeister. Seconded by Ald. Wollman.
