MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 2, 1970
The meeting was called to order at 8:50 P.M. by Acting Chairman
Wollman. Also present were Aldermen Narlock and Sapp.
Raymond F. Petroviak, 5936 S. 111th St., Hales Corners, Wisconsin,
appeared to apply for an Operator's License.
Ald. Narlock moved to recomnend Council approval of an Operator's
print Report. Seconded by Ald. Wollman. Motion carried.
Ald. Narlock moved to recommend that the Council purchase two
Cincinnati Time Clock, one for the Public Works Dept. and one for
the Police Department, at a cost of $295.00 each and t%e old time
clock from the Public Works Dept. to be used at City Hall. Seconded
by Ald. Sapp. Motion carried.
City Clerk Bette Bowyer, City Treasurer Jean Sanders, Darlene Thode,
Barbara Sands and Rosemary Stoecker appeared to discuss salaries and
working conditions' involving City Hall Employees.
Harold DeBack joined the meeting at 9:00 P.M. Mayor Gottfried and
e License for Mr. Petroviak, subject to receipt of favorable Finger-
0 Ald. Dwyer joined the meeting at 9:35 P.M.
State Treasurer Harold W. Clemens notified the City that a check -
in the amount of $79,795.05 has been mailed to our Treasurer in
payment of Income Tax apportionment.
Ald. Wollman moved to recommend Council approval of the low bid from
Mr. Robert Duda of Industrial Appraisal Company for the appraisal of
all City properties for insurance purposes,in the amount of $1,330.00
p.lus $133.0OLfpr the first year's revaluation services. Seconded by Ald.
Narlock, motion carried.
An application for employment was received from Evelyn B. Heun, S65
W12558 Byron Rd., Hales Corners, Wisconsin, was received.
The question of the procedure to use to offset expenses for the
Managers of the baseball teams, was discussed. Mayor Gottfried will
discuss this ma,tter with Ald. Burgermeister.
The Finance Committee discussed in detail the questions raised by
the City Hall Employees in their visit.
Ald. Sapp moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Narlock. Motion
carried. The meetinrr adiourned at 10:35 P.M.
