FCM19701104FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO 0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 4, 1970 The meeting was called to order at 8:37 P.M. by Mayor Gottfried. Also present were Aldermen Narlock, Wollman and Sapp. Mr. Gerard Marchese, Jr., W145 S6952 Brentwood Dr., Hales Corners, appeared to apply for an Operator's License. Ald. Sapp moved to recommend Common Council approval of the license, subject to receipt of a favorable Fingerprint Report. Seconded by Ald. Wollman, motion carried. A bill from the National Suburban League, Ltd. in the amount of $100.00 for the City's 1970 membership dues was received. No action was taken pending a reply from the League to a letter sent by City Clerk Bette Bowyer, requesting information as to the advantage of this membership. The City's eligibility for participation in the Municipal Group Life Insurance Program was discussed. The cost of this fund vs. our present insurance will be investigated. An application for a Class "B" Liquor License from Richard Smith for has requested that action be withheld pending resolution of the sub- letting problem with the present license holder. The question of the license of Robert Brinhneier for Bob and Lee's Tavern was discussed. It was determined that Mrs. Brinkmeier would have to re- W194 S7060 Hillendale Dr. was received. The owner of the building apply. Applications for employment have been received from Mabel Schneider, W188 S7650 Oak Grove Dr. and Margaret Rogers, S74 W20850 Field Dr. and will be placed on file. A1.d. Sapp moved to request that another Industrial appraisal firm submit an estimate of the cost of appraising all of the City's insurable property. Seconded by Ald. Narlock. Motion carried. Ald.
