MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 22, 1970
0 The meeting was called to order at 7:40 P.M. by Mayor Gottfried. Also
present were Aldermen Foldy, Narlock and Wollman.
The following applicants appeared for an Operator's License:
Robert Gustafson 3913 N. 78th St., Milwaukee
John Hrica 4331 N. Alpine Ave., Shorewood
Joseph Rickun 8917 W. Grantosa Dr. , Milwaukee
Eugene Lien 8701 W. Spokane Ave., Milwaukee
Kenneth Lee Schwarz 5580 S. Racine Ave., New Berlin
Don Kneser, S76 W17957 Janesville Rd., Muskego, appeared to apply for
a Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License.
Charles Rathsack, S64 W18375 Topaz Dr., appeared to request reconsideration
of the denial of his application for an Operator's License.
Narlock moved to recommend approval of a Class "B" License for Don Kneser,
subject to a favorable Fingerprint Report and advertising requirements.
Wollman seconded. Motion carried.

Wollman moved to recommend approval of an Operator's License for Robert
Wollman seconded. Motion carried.
Narlock moved to recommend approval of an Operator's License for Joseph
Rickun and Eugene Lien subject to favorable Fingerprint Reports. Wollman
seconded. Motion carried.
Gustafson and John Hrica subject to favorable Fingerprint Reports.
Narlock moved to recommend approval of an Operator's License for Kenneth
Lee Schwarz. Wollman seconded. Motion carried.
The Committee agreed to review the Charles Rathsack denial of an Operator's
License before taking action on the request for reconsideration at the
next meeting.
The Committee approved the advertising for the sale of 9% acres of the
former Hohensee property.
A review was made of the Beach Permit situation.
A letter from two Milwaukee Councilmen was received and placed on file.

A communication from Dispatcher Mrs. Barbara Polce was received and
placed on file.
- Narlock moved to recommend approval for payment of vouchers in the amount
of $108,160.06. Wollman seconded.
Mrs. Bette Bowyer, City Clerk-Comptroller, Mrs. Donna Lenz, Chairman of
the Library Board and Mr. Gerald Lee, Building Inspector, joined the
meeting for a review of the city policies covering salaries and fringe
benefits of city employees. Also con~sidered--were--the vari-ous--department - -
()rules and regulations of employment and working conditions.
Narlock moved to adjourn. Wollman seconded. Meeting adjourned at 11:20 P.M.
