FCM19700107FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 7, 1970 Mayor Wieselmann called the meeting to order at 7:45 P.M. Also present were Aldermen Budish, DeBack and Narlock. The Minutes of previous meeting were approved as mailed. Mr. and Mrs. John Smolen and their Attorney, John Anderson, appeared to discuss the situation at the Smolen's property known as the "Reef". It was agreed that existing conditions not in compliance with municipal requirements would be corrected by Mr. Smolen. Tess Corners Fire Chief Fred Utpatel and Paul DuPlanty appeared to discuss City and Fire Dept. policy of Rescue Squad operations. Mr. Birch of Birch-Grisa-Phillips, Inc. appeared to discuss planning and development of industrial sites. Budish moved to recommend that the Common Council contract with Birch- Grisa-Phillips, Inc. for the planning, surveying, preparation of street grades and grading plans of the proposed Industrial Park in accordance with a schedule of minimum surveying fees as prescribed by the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyers-Southeast Chapter. Narlock moved to recommend that final date of at least one-half of real estate tax payment be extended to February 28, 1970. DeBack seconded. Motion carried. A check of $22,909.41 was received from the State of Wisconsin as a supplemental payment of highway aids. DeBack moved to recommend approval of a Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License to Mr. Clifton Weber upon compliance with proposal that existing poor conditions of the "Reef" property will be corrected. Budish seconded. Motion carried. Negotiations with Police Department Dispatchers were reviewed. DeBack moved to adjourn. Budish seconded. The meeting adjourned at 11:OO P.M. c 7ds 4c4Rd Frank E.
