FCM19690806FINANCE COMMITTEE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEG0 0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 6, 1969 Mayor Wieselmann called the meeting to order at 7:45 P.M. Also present were Aldermen Budish, DeBack and Narlock. Police Chief Kraus was also in attendance. The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as mailed. Frank M. Wilson, W125 S9681 N. Cape Rd., Hales Corners, appeared to apply for an Operator's License. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel S. Kupec, W126 S9218 N. Cape Rd., Hales Corners, appeared as applicants for a Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License. Budish moved to approve a Maintenance Agreement with IBM to service Police Department typewriters. DeBack seconded. Motion carried. Police Chief Kraus explained the need for the purchase of three walkie talkie radios. It was also pointed out that 75% of the cost would be returned to the City by the Dept. of Natural Resources as State Aid for Water Patrol. Action was deferred to the next meeting in order application for State Aid. Budish moved to recommend the transfer of $1,000.00 to Acct. 8520-049, Training and Recruiting. The funds to be used for holding examinations to obtain an eligibility list for the Police Department. Narlock seconded. Motion carried. to obtain information from City Clerk Bette Bowyer covering the Narlock moved to recommend approval of an Operator's License for Frank Wilson pending receipt of favorable Medical and Fingerprint Reports. DeBack seconded. Motion carried. Budish moved to recommend approval of a Class "B" License for Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Kupec. DeBack seconded. Motion carried. Budish moved to recommend approval of an agreement with Ehlers and Associates to provide Finance Consulting Service to the City of Muskego. DeBack seconded. Motion carried. DeBack moved to authorize additional payment for janitorial services at the offices of the City Engineer and Building Inspector. Payment to be at the current rate of $2.50 Der hour. Budish seconded. Motion 0 carried. DeBack moved to recommend that the City Council retain J. T. Barry, Inc. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on an advisory basis and in its professional capacity as an industrial developer at a fee not to exceed $2,000.00. Budish seconded. Motion carried.
