FCM19690108FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEG0 0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 8, 1969 Mayor Wieselmann called the meeting to order at 7:45 P.M. Also present were Aldermen Budish, DeBack and Narlock. Minutes of the previous meeting of December 19, 1968, and December 30, 1968, were approved as mailed. RobertKijewski, S73 W19347 Lochcrest Blvd., applied for an Operator's License. Kenneth Glynn, 3963 S. 76th St., Milwaukee, applied for an Operator's License. Narlock moved to recommend approval of an Operator's License for Robert Kijewski pending receipt of a favorable fingerprint and medical report. Budish seconded. Motion carried. Narlock moved to recommend approval of an Operator's License for Kenneth Glynn pending receipt of a favorable fingerprint report. DeBack seconded. Motion carried. Budish moved to recommend the purchase of a used 1969 Pontiac Cataline for the price of $2,540.00 to be used as a squad vehicle. DeBack seconded. Motion carried. Mr. A. Shackleton of Lincoln Nationa~l Life Insurance Co. presented a report of Group Life Insurance coverage for full time City employees. Building Inspector Lee discussed the problem of obtaining a City Plumbing Inspector and Assistant Building Inspector. Budish moved to approve payment of $60.00 to cover the registration for Inspector Lee in order that he may attend the Building Inspectors Institute at the University of Illinois. DeBack seconded. Motion carried. DeBack moved to recommend that the City Council authorize a contract with Lincoln National Life providing $5,000.00 Group Life Insurance for all full time City employees. Narlock seconded. Motion carried. Budish moved to approve purchase of Uniform Water Markers as recommended by the Safety Committee and the Police Department. DeBack seconded. Motion carried. 0 4-door, Serial #252699P120870 from E. J. Salentine Pontiac Buick Co. A Radar Maintenance Contract proposal was discussed and it was agreed to have Police Chief Kraus attend the next meeting in order to review the coverage and cost. DeBack moved to recommend purchase of the John Allison lot at the Muskego Dam Road for $1,075.00 in order to provide for a future road extension. Narlock seconded. Motion carried.
