FCM19680904FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 4, 1968 Mayor Wieselmann called the meeting to order at 7:40 P.M. Present were Aldermen Budish, DeBack, Narlock, Burgenneister and Linck. Also present were the Tess Corners Fire Department Chief Utpatel and his Assistant Fire Chief Werner Bierbach and Mr. Gottfried. Io The Minutes of the previous meeting held August 21, 1968, were approved and placed on file. Narlock moved to recommend payment of vouchers in the amount of $124,272.72. DeBack seconded, motion carried. A review was made of the Rescue Service operation which as of this date has exceeded its budget by $900.00. Future policy of this operation will be considered after consultation with the City Attorney. Budish moved to approve sewer construction payments as follows: Milwaukee Underground Construction Co. $34,974.45 Tomasini Contractors 23.294.25 W. J. Lazynski, Inc. Seconded by DeBack, motion carried. 113 1256.00 Budish moved to amend previous recommendation of payment to Charles Fickau in the amount of $64.95 to $63.05. DeBack seconded. Motion carried. The purchase of chairs for City Hall was reviewed. Budish moved and DeBack seconded to recommend denial of Mrs. A. Bierbower's request for refund of Mobile Home Permit fee. Motion carried. DeBack moved to subscribe to National League of Cities Publication "Federal Aids to Local Governments .I' Subscription cost $20.00 per year. Narlock seconded. Motion carried. State of Wisconsin Highway Aids were received in the amount of $63,754.19. A U. S. Dept. of Interior letter was received indicating that the City will receive $11,100.00 for 1968 Sewer Construction Aids. A communication from Mr. Carl Wauer was received indicating that he will extend present Dump Contract to September 30, 1968. DeBack moved and Budish seconded to recommend extension of present Dump Contract with Mr. C. Wauer to September 30, 1968. Motion carried. Bids for reassessment of City in 1969 have been received. Final date for submitting bids is September 23, 1968. A review was made of the 1968 Wage and Fringe Benefit Proposals by the Muskego Branch - W.P.P.A. w2s reviewed with members of the Safety Committee present. Budish moved and DeBack seconded to recommend a $3,000.00 transfer of funds to cover Rescue Service Operation payments for the remainder of 1968.- Motion carried-. "- Budish moved to adjourn.
