MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 17, 1968
Mayor Wieselmann called the meeting to order at 7:35 P.M. Present were
Aldermen Budish, DeBack, Narlock and Mr. Gottfried.
The minutes of the previous meeting held July 3, 1968 were accepted as
mailed and placed on file.
Applications for Operator's Licenses were made by:
Russell Bansemer, Jr. 7631 W. Morgan Ave., Milwaukee
Gordon Kellom - 1634 S. 32nd St., Milwaukee
Carl Olkowski - 2632 S. 67th St., Milwaukee
Thomas John Behrs - 3408 S. 60th St., Milwaukee
Narlock moved to recommend approval of Junk Yard Permits for James Kohne
and Jack Glockner. DeBack seconded. Motion carried.
Mr. Syring of Forrer Business Interior, Inc. presented sample stacking
and ganging chairs that could be purchased by the City. Action was delayed
until the next meeting so that a more complete investigation could be
made of his offer.
Narlock moved to recommend approval of Operator's License for Russell
Bansemer, Jr. Budish seconded, motion carried. ..
DeBack moved to recommend approval of Operator's License for Gordon Kellom.
Budish seconded, motion carried.
Narlock moved to recommend approval of Operator's License for Carl Olkowski.
DeBack seconded, motion carried.
Budish moved to recommend approval of Operator's License for Thomas J. Behrs.
Narlock seconded, motion carried.
Budish moved to approve application of a Picnic License for St. Paul's
Lutheran Church. DeBack seconded, motion carried.
Budish moved to deny request of Standard Oil Station for a Sign Permit
fee refund.
A letter was received from Schroeder, Gedlin, Riester and Moerke covering
drainage problem on land owned by Mr. William Schwefel.
Mario Calero, 8325 N. 67th St., Brown Deer, applied for a Class "B" ferment-
ed Malt Beverage and Class "B" Intoxicating Liquor License.
Budish moved to recommend approval of the Pistol Shooting Range Lease
Agreement with Wauer's Fur Foods, Inc. as submitted with charges by Carl
Wauer. DeBack seconded. Motion carried.

Interest on investments was received from the Waukesha State Bank in
the amount of $3,750.00.
Wayne Lehnert, 5958 S. Kurtze Rd., Hales Corners, applied for an Operator's
License. Narlock moved to recommend approval of an Operator's License
for Wayne Lehnert. Budish seconded. Motion carried.
Budish moved to~recommend approval- of remodeling one room at the Police
Department building and purchase of additional office equipment. Narlock
seconded. Motion carried.
A temporary building for the Public Works Department as proposed by
Budish was reviewed.

Budish moved to recommend approval of resolution authorizing the
Finance Committee to take an option, not to exceed $500.00, for
the purchase of Idle Isle. Narlock seconded. Motion carried.
Budish moved to deny a request for City insurance coverage on Police-
men's cars used performing duty for the City. DeBack seconded. Motion
carried.
1968 Wage and Fringe Benefit Proposals Muskego Brance of W.P.P.A.
were reviewed.
Narlock moved to adjourn. DeBack seconded. Meeting adjourned at
11:35 P.M.
