FCM19680522FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEG0 0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 22, 1968 Mayor Wieselmann called the meeting to order at 7:06 P.M. Present were Aldermen Budish, DeBack and Narlock. The Minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as received. Mayor Wieselmann noted that the bulk gasoline storage tank had been installed at the Police Department. DeBack moved to recommend that bid advertising for bulk gasoline be authorized to provide the Police Department with fuel for the next three months. Budish seconded. Motion carried. Budish moved to defer action on bidding for asphalt to cover driveway and parking area at the Police Department. Seconded by DeBack. Motion carried. The establishment of a city deposit account at the Muskego Branch of the First National Bank of Waukesha was discussed. George G. Parmenter, S103 W19813 Kelsey Dr. applied for an Operator's License. Robert D. Johnson, 4928 W. Tesch Ave., Milwaukee, applied for an Operator's License. A communication from Channer Newman Securities Company was read and placed on file. A letter from Casey Kendziorski, Jr. directed to Mr. William Sayles, Director, Compliance Group Department of Natural Resources, was read and placed on file. Budish moved to recommend approval of George G. Parmenter's application for an Operator's License. Seconded by DeBack. Motion carried. Narlock moved to recommend approval of Operator's License application for Robert D. Johnson. Seconded by DeBack, motion carried. Interest in the amount of $562.50 was received from the Waukesha State Bank on May 21, 1968. Budish moved to recommend approval of a Class "B" Gathering License for the Muskego Athletic Association pending a notarization of Agent's signature. Seconded by DeBack. Motion carried. The purchase of Idle Isle was discussed. Narlock moved to recommend the City enter into negotiations with the owner of Idle Isle for the purpose of obtaining an option (not to exceed $500.00) to purchase. Seconded by Budish.
