FCM19680207FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 7, 1968 The regular meeting of the Finance Committee was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Mayor Gottfried. Also present were Alderman Budish, Alderman Joost and Alderman Linck. The Minutes of the January 17, 1968, Finance Committee meeting were read and approved. The City Treasurer presented the problem of getting the tax bills to the citizens on time and she would like to have the City go to data processing for the preparation of tax bills. The members of the Little Muskego Lake Committee were present at.the meeting. To complete the study, sounding of the lake and the presenta- tion to the State and Federal Government agencys, an additional $4,000.00 is needed. Mr. Casey Kendziorski could then present the findings in the h0p.e of having the project declared a determination project. Ald. Lentini will present a resolution to the City Council for a vote at the February 13, 1968, meeting. Mr. James Peppers applied for an Operator's License. The City Treasurer received a check in the amount of $3,750.00 from 0 the Waukesha State Bank as interest on investments. Alderman Linck moved to approve the request of the Police Chief for Servisoft water softener service at the Police Department building. Seconded by Alderman Budish, motion carried. Alderman Budish moved to accept the January, 1968, City of Muskego Finance Report. Seconded by Alderman Joost. Motion carried. Alderman Linck moved to keep the monies of the Sewer Account in a separate checking account as requested by the City Clerk. Seconded by Alderman Joost. Motion carried. Alderman Linck moved ;that a fee of $2.50 be established as the purchase price of City of Muskego Zoning books. Seconded by Alderman Joost. Motion carried. Alderman Budish moved to recommend approval of the agreement between the City and Donald Hudziak in regard to severance pay. Seconded by Alderman Linck, motion carried. Alderman Linck moved to approve application of Golden Arrow Bow Hunters, Budish, motion carried. Alderman Linck moved to approve application of Ladies Auxiliary of the Muskego Fire Dept. for Picnic License and Dance Permit for March 16, 1968. Seconded by Ald. Joost, motion carried. Seconded by Ald. Joost, motion carried. Ald. Budish moved to recommend payment of vouchers payable February 13, 1968, in the amount of $68,533.35. Seconded by Ald. Linck, motion carrried. Ald. Budish moved to recommend the following adjustments be made to the Tax Roll: Arthur Zangerle, State of Wisconsin, and City of Muskego. Seconded by Ald. Linck, motion carried. Ald. Budish moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Ald. Joost, motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
