MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 17, 1968
The regular meeting of the Finance Committee was called to order at
7:30 P.M. by Mayor Gottfried. Also present were Alderman Budish,
Alderman Joost and Alderman Linck.
The Minutes of the January 3, 1968, meeting were read and approved. ,
Alderman Budish moved to recommend payment of vouchers, payable January
23, 1968, in the amount of $132,831.35. Seconded by Alderman Linck,
motion carried.
Alderman Linck moved to recommend bid of .315 per gal. for premium
gasoline for the Police Dept. from Johnny's Petroleum Products be
accepted as recommended by the Safety Committee. Seconded by Alderman
Budish, motion carried.
A letter from Sentry Insurance Company was received directing the City
to deny claim of Floyd PI. Thompson, Alderman Budish moved to deny
claim of Floyd H. Thompson. Seconded by Alderman Joost, motion carried.
The City Treasurer received a check in the amount of $562.50 from

Waukesha State Bank as investment interest.
Alderman Linck moved to recommend that Dale Whitehouse be appointed
Assistant Humane Officer. Seconded by Alderman Joost, motion carried.
Mr. W. A. Schwefel is to be contacted in regard to an easement on his
property so a new dam may be built.
Alderman Budish moved to make an offer to Hydro Parts for their property
land to be used for City Civic Center. Seconded by Alderman Joost,
motion carried.
The procedure for the purchase of industrial land was discussed again.
Alderman Budish moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Alderman
Joost, motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
