0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 6, 1967
The regular meeting of the Finance Committee was called to order
at 7:30 P.M. by Mayor Gottfried. Present were Mayor Gottfried,
Alderman Budish, Alderman Joost and Alderman Linck.
The minutes of the November 22, 1967, meeting were read and approved.
City Clerk Mrs. Bowyer and Police Chief Kraus were also present at
the meeting.
Section 4 of Ordinance #86, As Amended, covering sick leave was
discussed.
The rental or purchase of a bookkeeping machine was discussed.
Alderman Linck moved to recommend payment of vouchers payable
December 12, 1967, in the amount of $29,494.04. Seconded by Alder-
man Budish, motion carried.
Alderman Budish moved to deny the request of the Library Board to
transfer $400.00 from Account 8907 to Account #914. Seconded by
e
Alderman Linck, motion carried.
The City received a check in the amount of $50,804.45 as our share
of income tax apportionment from the State of Wisconsin.
Alderman Joost moved to recommend approval of Operator's License for
Wilma Kapetanich. Seconded by Alderman Budish, motion carried.
Alderman Budish moved to recommend approval of Operator's License
for Jeanne Green. Seconded by Alderman Joost, motion carried.
Alderman Linck moved to reimburse Police Chief Kraus and Harry Krase
for two months of Blue Cross Insurance payments.
Alderman Linck moved to recommend squad cars be purchased on a 90-day
Exchange Program as per agreement from Wisconsin Car Rental, Inc.
with the service policy for $102.50 for 90 days. Seconded by Ald.
Budish, motion carried.
Alderman Joost moved to recomment that the Clerk be authorized to
rent a Burroughs Bookkeeping machine at a cost of $219.00 per month
plus $184.00 initial cost for programming. Seconded by Alderman
Linck, motion carried.
Appraisals on the Schwefel property and the Lex farm have been received.
The Finance Committee will meet with the people involved in the near
future.

carried. The meeting adjourned at 10:35 P.M.
