MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 21, 1966
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Mayor Gottfried.
Present were Mayor Gottfried, Alderman Budish, Alderman Joost and
Alderman Linck.

The Minutes of the Finance Committee meeting held December 7, 1966,
were read and approved.
Vouchers in the amount of $11,012.49, payable December 27, 1966,
were recommended for payment on a motion by Alderman Budish, seconded
by Alderman Linck, motion carried.
Mr. Mahoney of Pitney-Bowes, Inc. demonstrated a postage meter
mailing machine to the Committee.
Alderman Linck moved to recommend that the Council approve Operator’s
Licenses for Joseph Smodi and Steven Kryzman. Seconded by Alderman
Joost, motion carried.
Alderman Budish moved to recommend a Dance Hall License be issued to
State Fair Park, Inc., seconded by Alderman Linck, motion carried.
Alderman Linck moved to grant the request of the City Treasurer to
use $500.00 of city funds, during the time taxes are collected, money
to be returned to the City March 1, 1967. Seconded by Alderman
.Budish, motion carried.
Checks in the amount of $22,449.64 were received by the City Treasurer
from the State of Wisconsin as the City’s share of highway privilege
tax from automobile and truck license fees.

Alderman Budish moved to recommend that the City of Muskego join the
National Suburban League at a cost of $100.00 per year. Seconded
by Alderman Joost, motion carried.
Alderman Budish moved to recommend that the Council purchase a Pitney-
Bowes postage meter mailing machine for the City of Muskego at a cost
not to exceed $475.00. Seconded by Alderman Linck, motion carried.
Alderman Joost moved to recommend $6,500.00 from the Park and
Recreation Budget be placed in Reserve Acct. #268, Horn Field,
seconded by Alderman Joost, motion carried.
0 Alderman Joost moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Alderman
Linck, motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 1O:OO P.M.
