0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 16, 1966
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Mayor Gottfried.
Present were Mayor Gottfried, Alderman Budish, Alderman Joost and
Alderman Linck.
*The Minutes of the October 26, 1966, and November 2, 1966, were approved.
Douglas Ern0 and Christine Ern0 of Big Bend appeared before the Committee
to apply for Operator's License.
Mr. Jack Principati attended the Finance Committee meeting and gave
his views of the Office of Assessor and Ordinance #54.
Vouchers payable November 22, 1966, in the amount of $10,796.71 were
recommended for payment on a motion by Alderman Linck, seconded by
Alderman Budish, motion carried.
The portion of the Council meeting of November 9, 1966, relating to
Ordinance #54 was read and discussed.
0 Alderman Budish moved the Finance Committee recommend Section I be
changed to read that the Office of Assessor shall be full time after
May 1, 1967, and that Code #452, Assessor, Other Salaries, be increased
to $1200.00. Seconded by Alderman Linck, motion carried.
It was the opinion of the Committee that definite office hours should
be established by the Assessor but this need not be in the ordinance.
The Finance Committee agreed to meet with Mr. and Mrs. Castine and
Mr. and Mrs. Wolf in regard to the purchase of their property.
Alderman Linck moved to Pprchase new adding machine, price not to
exceed $300.00. seconded by Alderman Joost, motion carried.
It was agreed that a breakdown of other salaries for clerical in the
1967 Budget read as follows:
Justice Court $ 500.00
Building Inspector 1,000.00
Treasurer 500.00
Assessor 500 .OO
Plan Commission 1,500.00
Clerk 2,000.00
Alderman Budish moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Alderman
Joost. The meeting adjourned at 9:35 P.M.
