MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 16, 1966
Aldermen Bostater, Budish and Wolf in attendance.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Gottfried at 7:30 P.M. with
The minutes from the previous meeting were reviewed and approved.
The first order of business was the application of Fred Kenda of
S76 W18219 Janesville Road for a Class B Fermented Malt Liquor License.
The application is for the operation of the tavern previously operated

by Mr. Francis Schofer, whose license was recently revoked. Mr. Kenda

center of the lot had been cut when the rest of the lot had been
just as bad. Mr. Draskovich indicated that it was illogical for
him to cut the center of the lot and leave the outside because you usually start on the outside and work your way to the center. He

The vouchers that are payable to the period up to and including
March 22, 1966, were reviewed. These total $9,318.78. Alderman

A bill that had been received since the voucher list was prepared, was reviewed. This was from the Merkel Electric Company for the
repair of underground wires on McShane Road for the amount of $28.00.
It was explained by Alderman %dish that these wires were severed
when McShane Road was widened and repaired. Alderman Budish moved
to recommend that the Common Council approve this bill which was^ -~
seconded by Alderman Wolf and the motion carried.
Our investment program was discussed and again it will be investigated
rather than Bank Certificates of Deposit.

Additional bids were received from Guthrie and Lyon, Inc. and from
