Meeting was convened by Mayor Gottfried at 7:30 P.M. Aldermen Budish, Bostater and Wolf were in attendance.
Applicants for license for bartending.
1. Leonard Vandervest, W198 Sl0951 Racine Ave., Muskego,
Age 52, single, Had his own tavern in Rhinelander, Wis.
Milwaukee Gas Light Company. No medical or fingerprint
17 or 18 years ago. Present occupation Is foreman for
reports on file at this time.
2. Bernadine Diciaula, 10008 W. Loomis Rd., Age 31, divorced, e 2 children, works at eating place in Milwaukee. No medical
or fingerprint reports on file at this time.
3. John Depiesse, Rt # 1, Random Lake, Wis. Currently residing
at Lakeview Resort. Occupation is bartender. Has worked
various places and last was Club Las Vegas in Milwaukee.
Age 25 and he is single. Medical report has been received
and is clear but fingerprint report is not on file.
4. Fred J. Kenda, S76 W18216 Janesville Rd. Age 41, married, 7 Children. He is a salesman for a bu,ilding materials
file and are clear.

Ald. Budish moved to recommend approval of licenses for Vandervest,

Melvin Wright, owner of the Reef, appeared as requested. This was
in response to notice received by this Committee that Mr. Wright
had been convicted of a charge of serving alcoholic beverage to
a 16 year old. Mr. Wright stated that this boy was in an accident
and stated that he had obtained beer at the Reef. Mr. Wright was
warned by Mayor Gottfried that his license is in jeopardy when
such convictions are filed and that he must be very careful.

Resolution 99 was presented to the Committee for review by Mayor
Gottfried. This deals with transfer of funds to Park and Recreation
totaling $4,000 so that repair of Jewel Crest Building can begin 0 before winter weather sets in.
Alderman Budish moved to recommend approval of Resolution 99, which was seconded by Alderman Wolf and motion carried.
Alderman Budish moved to adjourn at 9:05 P.M. which was seconded
by Alderman Bostater. Meeting adjourned.
