MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 22, 1965
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Gottfried at 7:OO P.M.
Members present were Aldermen Bostater, Budish and Wolf.
Minutes of the last meeting were reviewed, approved and placed on file.
Licenses
Committee on September 14, 1965 and presented to the Council on
September 14, 1965.

License for Kenneth Payne was approved at a special meeting of the
Ald. Bostater moved that approval be recornended pending return of
satisfactory fingerprint report, which was seconded by Ald. Budish
and carried.
Licenses for Rosemary Paprocki and Charles Green were discussed.
license to A & P Tea Company, Ald. Wolf seconded and carried.
Ald. Bostater moved to recommend issuance of a cigarette and soda
indicating that Melvin Wright, owner of the Reef, had been convicted
of serving alcoholic beverage to a minor. Mr. Wright will be ordered
to appear before this Committee at its next meeting on October 12, 1965.
Mayor Gottfried read a communication from Waukesha County authorities
0 Vouchers totaling $13,012.04 were presented to the Committee. Ald.
Budish moved to recommend payment of vouchers totaling $13,012.04
which was seconded by Ald. Bostater, motion carried.
Mayor Gottfried advised the Committee that he was going to appoint
Gerald Lee as Building Inspector and recommend a monthly salary of $625.00.
Insurance bids were received and opened. There were only two bids
received; one from the Sentry Insurance Company and one from Employers
Mutuals of Wausau. These will be reviewed and presented at the next
Council meeting.
Our investment program was reviewed and Mr. Davies of the Waukesha
Snte Bank attended our discussions. Re advised us that his bank will
offer us interest of 3.75% on Certificates of Deposit up to 60 days,
and 4.00% on Certificates over 60 days. After Mr. Davies left the
meeting, Mr. Bostater recommended that on or about October 1, 1965,
$100,000 be invested in 60 day Certificate of Deposit, which was an amount of $125,000 be invested in 90 day Certificate of Deposit and
seconded by Ald. Wolf. Motion carried.
Ald. Budish moved to adjourn which was seconded by Ald. Wolf. Motion carried and meeting was adjourned at 9:30 P. M.
