The meeting of the Finance Committee was convened at 8:45 P..M. by

Alderman Bostater moved to grant a Beer Picnic Permit for August 28th and 29th, 1965, to the Veterans of Foreign Wars for the purpose of
serving beer at the Muskego Country Fair on those dags. This was

Mayor Gottfried indicated that a young man had presented himself
for application for a Transcient Merchants License for the purpose
of selling ice cream in and about the City. Since it was questionable
as to what types of businesses this ordinance applied to, it was
recommended that the license be referred to the Rules, Laws 6s Ordinance
Committee along with a suggestion that a manscient Merchant Ordinonce
be reviewed.
Mayor Gottfried then brought up the subject of the Glockner Junk

Inspector. Alderman Bostater moved to recommend to the Common Council
that the Building Inspector's position be placed on a full time basis
and that the remuneration for the position be placed et $7500 per year

and the motion carried.
