CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Chiaverotti called the meeting to order at 7:22 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: Aldermen Wolfe, Hammel, Borgman, Kapusta, Kubacki and Madden. Also present:
City Attorney Warchol, Library Director Larson and Deputy Clerk Blenski. Absent: Alderman
Engelhardt.
STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE
The Deputy Clerk stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open meeting
law.

CONSENT AGENDA
Alderman Kubacki requested that Resolution #008-2018 be removed from Consent.
Alderman Borgman made a motion to approve the remaining items. Alderman Wolfe
seconded; motion carried. The following were approved:

NEW BUSINESS
Resolution #008-2018 – Award of Bid – Children’s Area Library Redesign
Discussion took place regarding the cost of Alternate No. 1 (Color Changing Lights) at
$25,848.00. Alderman Borgman is a member of the Library Board. He stated that the
Board deliberated extensively regarding the lights. That is why it was bid as an alternate
and not part of the base bid. The total amount for the Base Bid and Alternate No. 1 are still
under budget. Several Council Members supported the expenditure because the project
total was within budget. Alderman Kapusta moved to recommend that the bid be

awarded to Reese Group for a total of $188,723. Alderman Borgman seconded;
motion carried.
REVIEW OF COMMITTEE REPORTS
Public Works Committee - November 20, 2017
LICENSE APPROVAL
Approval of Temporary Licenses to Sell Fermented Malt Beverages and Wine – Special
Olympics Wisconsin – February 11, 2018 Muskego Polar Plunge
Alderman Borgman made a motion to approve. Alderman Kubacki seconded; motion
carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Utility Vouchers
Alderman Wolfe made a motion to approve Utility Vouchers in the amount of
$356,662.56. Alderman Madden seconded; motion carried.
Tax Vouchers
Alderman Wolfe made a motion to approve Tax Vouchers in the amount of
$87,718.17. Alderman Kubacki seconded; motion carried.
General Fund Vouchers
Alderman Wolfe made a motion to approve General Fund Vouchers in the amount of
$318,012.35. Alderman Hammel seconded; motion carried.
Wire Transfers for Payroll/Invoice Transmittals
Alderman Wolfe made a motion to approve Wire Transfers for Payroll/Invoice
Transmittals in the amount of $234,765.09. Alderman Kapusta seconded; motion
carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Alderman Kubacki made a motion to adjourn at 7:35 p.m. Alderman Wolfe seconded;
motion carried.
