CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Chiaverotti called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
ROLL CALL
Present were Aldermen Kubacki, Soltysiak, Glazier, Borgman, Hammel and Wolfe, and
Finance and Administration Director Mueller, Community Development Director Muenkel and
Engineering Director Simpson. Alderman Madden was absent.
STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE
Ms. Mueller stated the meeting was properly noticed.
COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR'S OFFICE
Mayor noted that Alderman Madden was not present because she had surgery.
PUBLIC COMMENT
The following individual spoke: Robert Lucas, W198 S8456 Bendingbrae Drive spoke in favor
of Reso. #014-2014.
PUBLIC HEARING
To consider revisions to Chapter 14 Floodplain Zoning Ordinance of the City of Muskego
Municipal Code relating to floodplain maps and regulations.
Mayor read the public hearing notice. Community Development Director Muenkel stated
revisions were necessary to Chapter 14, the City's Floodplain Zoning Ordinance. The City is
required to have a Floodplain Ordinance in order to be part of the NFIP (National Flood
Insurance Program). By participating in the NFIP, residents are eligible to obtain flood
insurance. One of the conditions of the program is that the city must adopt the regulations of
Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) and Federal Emergency Management
Agency (FEMA). Mayor closed the public hearing.
CONSENT AGENDA
Reso. #007-2014 and Reso. #009-2014 were removed from the Consent Agenda items.
Alderman Borgman made a motion to approve the remaining items under Consent
Agenda. Alderman Glazier seconded.
Motion Passed 6 in favor.
Approval of Operators' Licenses for Niki Milliman and Madalyn Peterson.

Reso. #007-2014 - Establishing Traffic Regulations (Stop Sign - Pheasant Run Drive)
Alderman Glazier made a motion to approve. Alderman Hammel seconded.
Mr. Simpson noted that the stop sign is located at Pheasant Run and Mystic Drive. At this time
there are no internal subdivision stop signs proposed.
Motion Passed 6 in favor.
Reso. #009-2014 - Resolution Requesting the State Legislature Support Changes Regarding
Drainage Districts
Alderman Soltysiak made a motion to approve. Alderman Kubacki seconded.
Motion Passed 6 in favor.
Reso. #015-2014 - Approval of Sale of Real Property and Supporting Developer's Agreement
(Former BP Parcel)
Alderman Glazier made a motion to approve. Alderman Kubacki seconded.
Mr. Muenkel reviewed the proposal from Mr. John Jewell to develop the former BP Gas Station
parcel. The CDA approved the proposal for Mr. Jewell to purchase the property and build a
retail/office structure with proposed incentives. A rezoning would be required.
Motion Passed 6 in favor.

310.63. Alderman Kubacki seconded.

Alderman Soltysiak made a motion to approve Tax Vouchers in the amount of
$29,916.26. Alderman Glazier seconded.
Motion Passed 6 in favor.
General Fund Vouchers
Alderman Soltysiak made a motion to approve General Fund Vouchers in the amount
of $710,826.95. Alderman Wolfe seconded.
Motion Passed 6 in favor.
Wire Transfers for Debt Service

Wire Transfers for Payroll Transmittals
Alderman Soltysiak made a motion to approve Wire Transfers for Payroll Transmittals
in the amount of $209,630.05. Alderman Kubacki seconded.
