MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 14, 2010
Mayor Johnson called the meeting to order at 6:16 p.m. Present were Ald. Fiedler,
Schaumberg, Soltysiak, Werner, Borgman, Harenda, and Snead, and Deputy Clerk
Blenski. The Deputy stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open
meeting law.
CONSENT AGENDA
Ald. Borgman moved to approve the items under the Consent Agenda. Ald.
Harenda seconded. Motion carried 7 in favor.
The following items were approved:

REVIEW OF COMMITTEE REPORTS
The following minutes were reviewed: 7/27/2010 and 8/10/2010 Finance Committee,
8/3/2010 Plan Commission and 4/15/2010 and 7/22/2010 Teen Advisory Board.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Ord. #1329 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 13, Section 13.01 (2) 9., of the Municipal
Code of the City of Muskego (Dog Fancier). Second Reading. Ald. Snead moved for
adoption. Ald. Borgman seconded. Motion carried 7 in favor.
Ord. #1330 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 12, Section 12.01 (6.3), of the Municipal
Code of the City of Muskego (Provisional Operator’s License). Second Reading. Ald.
Snead moved for adoption. Ald. Soltysiak seconded. Motion carried 7 in favor.
FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE
Ord. #1331 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 10, Section 10.03, of the Municipal Code
of the City of Muskego (Public Nuisances Affecting Health - Smoke Free Law).
LICENSES
Approval of Amendment to Licensed Premise for Sobek’s Resort
The Mayor stated that the Finance Committee recommended approval of an
amendment to the licensed premise for Sobek’s Resort at the August 24 meeting
subject to the submittal of a sketch depicting the area. Mr. Henneberry, the corporate
agent, did submit a sketch, which depicts the front porch and an area just outside the
rear door (approximately 17’ x 7’) to be licensed until closing time. The Mayor further

noted that he would like to have a general discussion at the next Finance Committee
meeting about the licensing of outside premises. Ald. Snead suggested waiting until
after that discussion before voting on the request for Sobek’s. Ald. Schaumberg stated
the establishment was in her district and she did not have a problem approving the
outside premise. Ald. Fiedler moved to approve that the designated outside
premise be licensed for Sobek’s Resort with the Committee to review it in 2011 at
renewal time. Ald. Harenda seconded. Motion carried 7 in favor.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Ald. Snead moved for approval of payment of General Vouchers in the amount of
$656,190.52. Ald. Fiedler seconded. Motion carried 7 in favor.
Ald. Snead moved for approval of payment of Utility Vouchers in the amount of
$116,002.22. Ald. Fiedler seconded. Motion carried 7 in favor.
COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS
Ald. Snead noted some upcoming Chamber of Commerce events.
ADJOURNMENT
Ald. Snead moved to adjourn at 6:28 p.m. Ald. Fiedler seconded; motion carried.
