COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO Approved: 06/23/2009
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 9, 2009
The meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. by Council President Fiedler. Also present were Ald.
Schaumberg, Schneider, Werner, Harenda, and Snead, Clerk-Treasurer Moyer and City
Attorney Molter. Ald. Borgman was absent. Those present recited the Pledge of
Allegiance. The Clerk stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open
meeting law on June 5, 2009.
COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR’S OFFICE
Fiedler noted that he is chairing the meeting as Mayor Johnson was on vacation. He
stated that he would retain his right to vote.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Suzi Link, W172 S7297, registered to speak. She expressed her opposition regarding
amending Tax Incremental District No. 10.
CONSENT AGENDA
Fiedler noted that Reso. #086-2009 (Approval of Moorland Park Playground
Equipment) would be removed. Werner moved to approve the remaining items
under the Consent Agenda. Schneider seconded. Motion carried 6 in favor.

The following minutes were reviewed: 4/14/2009 and 5/12/2009 Finance Committee,
5/5/2009 Plan Commission and 3/26/2009, 4/2/2009, 4/29/2009 Teen Advisory Board.
OLD BUSINESS
Ord. #1299 - An Ordinance to Amend the Zoning Map of the City of Muskego (Firestone
- B-4 to DR-1). Second Reading. Snead moved for adoption. Schaumberg
seconded. Snead moved to defer. Schneider seconded; motion carried.

NEW BUSINESS
Reso. #089-2009 - A Resolution Amending, Describing and Making Certain Findings for
Approving a Project Plan Amendment and Amended Boundaries for Tax Incremental
District No. 10, City of Muskego, Wisconsin. Werner moved for adoption. Snead
seconded. Motion carried 5 in favor and Harenda abstaining.
LICENSES
Snead moved to approve a Temporary License to Sell Fermented Malt Beverages
and Wine for the Muskego Corvette Club for 8/29/2009. Schaumberg seconded.
Schneider stated he would abstain as he is a club member. Motion carried 5 in
favor and one abstention.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Snead moved for approval of payment of General Vouchers in the amount of
$601,129.79. Schneider seconded. Motion carried 6 in favor.
Snead moved for approval of payment of Utility Vouchers in the amount of
$284,978.76. Schneider seconded. Motion carried 6 in favor.
ADJOURNMENT
Snead moved to adjourn at 7:55 p.m. Harenda seconded; motion carried.
