MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 28, 2009
Mayor Johnson called the meeting to order at 7:41 p.m. Present were Ald. Fiedler,
Schaumberg, Schneider, Werner, Borgman, Harenda, and Snead, Deputy Clerk Blenski
and City Attorney Molter. Those present recited the Pledge of Allegiance. The Deputy
Clerk stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open meeting law.
COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR’S OFFICE
Mayor Johnson stated that he authorized a solar study to be done for the City Hall and
Library buildings. Mediation with one bargaining unit is at a standstill.
CONSENT AGENDA
Mayor Johnson requested that Reso. #067-2009 (Acceptance of Permanent Storm
Sewer Easement between the City and Donald Erno-Kelsey Drive) be removed from the
Consent Agenda. Werner moved to approve the Consent Agenda without Reso.
#067-2009. Borgman seconded. Motion carried 7 in favor.

and 12/16/2008 Mayor’s Task Force were reviewed.
OLD BUSINESS
Ord. #1295 - An Ordinance to Repeal and Recreate the Chapter 17 Zoning Code of the
City of Muskego. On the floor, deferred 4/14/2009. Borgman moved to defer.
Fiedler seconded; motion carried.
Ord. #1296 - An Ordinance to Repeal and Recreate the Chapter 18 Land Division Code
of the City of Muskego. On the floor, deferred 4/14/2009. Borgman moved to defer.
Schaumberg seconded; motion carried.
LICENSES
Harenda moved to approve Outside Dance Permit and Temporary Amendment to
Licensed Premise for A.J.’s Bar & Grill, S90 W13970 Boxhorn Drive, for 6/13/2009.
Fiedler seconded; motion carried.
Schneider moved to approve Temporary License to Sell Wine and Fermented Malt
Beverages for All MHS Class Reunion for event to be held on 9/5/2009 at
Veteran’s Park. Schaumberg seconded; motion carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Fiedler moved for approval of payment of General Vouchers in the amount of
$438,758.49. Snead seconded. Motion carried 7 in favor.
Fiedler moved for approval of payment of Utility Vouchers in the amount of
$457,433.88. Snead seconded. Motion carried 7 in favor.
Fiedler moved for approval of Wire Transfers for Debt Service in the amount of
$928,343.96. Snead seconded. Motion carried 7 in favor.
CITY OFFICIALS’ REPORTS
The May calendar was reviewed.
COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS AS AUTHORIZED BY LAW
Ald. Werner stated he would schedule a ribbon cutting for the Center Street pier. In
conjunction with that, he will organize a tour of Little Muskego Lake.
Ald. Borgman stated he had a major water issue in his district over the weekend. He
acknowledged the efforts of City Engineer Dave Simpson, Public Works Superintendent
Wayne Delikat and staff to resolve the issue.
The Mayor stated he will ask the Fire Chief to attend a future Committee of the Whole
meeting and in conjunction schedule a tour of the stations.
