NEW BUSINESS
Reso. #063-2005 - Rejection of Apollo Development LLC Offer to Sell Property in the
Muskego Industrial Park. Salentine moved for adoption. Madden seconded. Mr.
McMullen stated the property is approximately 3.2 acres in size and is one of the last
vacant parcels in the Industrial Park. Apollo Development intends to sell the property to
G & G Trucking. However, the existing Rules and Regulations for the Industrial Park
state the property must be offered to the City first. Mr. McMullen stated that it is not
feasible for the City to acquire the property. No public improvement is necessary and
there is no park or open space benefit. Mayor Slocomb noted that a resolution would
be brought before a future Council to address the right of first refusal issue. Motion
carried 5-0. Mr. McMullen was dismissed.
Reso. #064-2005 - Resolution to Retain Special Prosecutor. Salentine moved for
adoption. Patterson seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
Reso. #065-2005 - Approval of 2005 - 2006 Lawn Mowing Agreement. Madden moved
for adoption. Salentine seconded. Mayor Slocomb stated the contractor selected
(Bluemel’s) to perform the lawn mowing services has backed out. It is proposed that
the City enter into an Agreement with F & W Landscape Specialists for this service.
The quote submitted by F & W is still under the amount budgeted. F & W has
performed lawn-mowing services for the City since the late ‘90s. Motion carried 5-0.
Borgman moved to adjourn at 5:29 PM. Patterson seconded; motion carried.
Respectfully submitted,
Jill Blenski
Deputy Clerk
