MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 8, 2004
Mayor Slocomb called the meeting to order at 7:38 PM. Also present were Ald.
Salentine, Borgman, Buckmaster, Madden, Melcher, Patterson, and Schroeder, City
Attorney Molter, and Acting Clerk-Treasurer Blenski. The Clerk stated the meeting was
noticed in accordance with the open meeting law on 6/4/04. The Mayor noted that the
Council would not convene into closed session regarding labor agreements.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Salentine moved for approval of the 5/25/2004 minutes. Borgman seconded. Salentine
moved to correct the minutes to reflect that Ald. Madden was absent and excused.
Schroeder seconded; motion carried. Motion to approve minutes as corrected carried.
ACCEPTANCE AND REVIEW OF COMMITTEE REPORTS
Salentine moved for acceptance of the 6/2/2004 and 6/8/2004 Finance Committee
minutes. Schroeder seconded; motion carried.
Buckmaster moved for acceptance of the 6/8/2004 Public Works Committee minutes.
Borgman seconded; motion carried.
Minutes of the 6/1/2004 Plan Commission and 5/20/2004 Conservation Commission
were received and placed on file. Referring to discussion in the Plan Commission
minutes for the Building, Site and Operation Plan for Bushy’s, Schroeder stated he had
extreme reservations about the parking lot being used as a roadway. Speed bumps will
not stop cut-through traffic. He referred to the fencing at G & G Motorsports as an
example of what could be used to deter traffic. Schroeder stated the Plan Commission
needs to take this seriously because the issue could become a large financial burden on
the City’s Police Dept. Buckmaster agreed and thanked Schroeder for his support. He
will pursue the issue and stated that it was made clear to the petitioner that a new plan
had to be submitted to address the concerns.

Reso. #103-2004 - Award of Bid - Freedom Square Outlet Storm Sewer. Salentine
moved for adoption. Patterson seconded. Motion carried 7-0.
Reso. #104-2004 - Approval of Various License Applications for the City of Muskego.
Madden moved for adoption. Schroeder seconded. Motion carried 7-0.
Reso. #105-2004 - Designating Public Depositories and Authorizing Withdrawal of City
of Muskego Monies. Salentine moved for adoption. Melcher seconded. Motion carried
7-0.
Reso. #106-2004 - Approval of Certified Survey Map - Schurbring, Town of Norway.
Buckmaster moved for adoption. Schroeder seconded. Motion carried 7-0.
Reso. #107-2004 - Establish Traffic Regulations. Salentine moved for adoption.
Buckmaster seconded. Motion carried 7-0.
Ord. #1172 - An Ordinance to Amend the Zoning Map of the City of Muskego
(Sonnentag - EA to A). First Reading.

LICENSES
Salentine moved for approval of an Operator’s license for Shane Gorn and April
Webber. Buckmaster seconded, motion carried.
Salentine moved for approval of a Temporary Class “B” Retailer’s License for Water
Bugs Ski Club for 7/3/2004. Buckmaster seconded; motion carried.
Salentine moved for approval of a Change of Agent, Robert Chvosta, for the Class “B”
Retailer’s License held by PH Green Bay LLC (Pizza Hut). Schroeder seconded;
motion carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Salentine moved for approval of payment of General Vouchers in the amount of
$671,366.00. Schroeder seconded. Motion carried 7-0. Schroeder moved for approval
of payment of Utility Vouchers in the amount of $37,642.03. Buckmaster seconded.
Motion carried 7-0. Salentine moved for approval of Tax Checks in the amount of
$63.29. Madden seconded. Motion carried 7-0.
CITY OFFICIALS’ REPORTS
The Clerk noted that the Committee of the Whole meeting was scheduled for 6/8/2004.
