MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD JULY 24, 2003
The meeting was called to order at 6:58 PM by Mayor Slocomb. Also present were
Aldermen Petfalski, Buckmaster, Damaske, Madden, Patterson, Salentine, Schroeder
and Deputy Clerk Blenski.
Those present recited the Pledge of Allegiance. The Mayor stated the meeting was
noticed in accordance with the open meeting law.
Ord. #1146 - An Ordinance Declaring a Moratorium on Land Divisions, Rezoning
Petitions, and the Approval of Building Site and Operation (BSO) Plans (Moorland Road
Corridor North of Janesville Road). The ordinance was on the agenda for possible
reconsideration for technical corrections. Mayor Slocomb stated that when the
ordinance was adopted on Tuesday, three tax key numbers were inadvertently omitted
from Section 1. The title of the ordinance included all the affected tax key numbers and
the public hearing was noticed properly. Salentine moved for reconsideration. Petfalski
seconded; motion carried. Petfalski moved to amend to include tax key numbers
2169.991, 2169.997 and 2166.998 at the end of Section 1. Salentine seconded; motion
carried. Ord. #1146, as amended, adopted unanimously.
Buckmaster moved to adjourn at 7:02 PM. Madden seconded; motion carried.
