COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO Approved 9/26/2000
MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
HELD SEPTEMBER 14, 2000
The meeting was called to order at 6:53 p.m. by Mayor De Angelis. Also present were
Ald. Slocomb, Chiaverotti, Le Doux, Patterson, Salentine, Sanders, Wichgers.
The Mayor stated the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open meeting law on
9/13/00.
NEW BUSINESS
Discuss Request for Temporary Occupancy Permit – Arby’s
The Mayor stated Arby’s has requested occupancy for their building. Some alterations
were made to the construction of the building, which include the windows on the east
and west side. They intend to go back to the Plan Commission to discuss the issue;
however, they would like to open in the meantime. The Common Council may grant a
temporary occupancy permit. Mayor De Angelis outlined proposed conditions
recommended by Plan Director Turk that should accompany the temporary occupancy
permit if granted. Ald. Salentine moved to approve the temporary occupancy permit for
Arby’s subject to Plan Commission review regarding the windows and the submittal of
cash in the amount of $2,000 for landscaping. Ald. Slocomb seconded. Ald. Patterson
asked why the windows were changed. The general contractor stated the change was
because of budgetary constraints encountered during the construction process. Motion
carried.
Slocomb moved to adjourn at 7:00 p.m. Chiaverotti seconded. Motion carried.
