COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO (Approved 1/12/99)
MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD DECEMBER 23, 1998
The meeting was called to order at 4:35 PM by Mayor De Angelis. Also present
were Aldermen Slocomb, Chiaverotti, Patterson, Pionek and Salentine, and
Clerk-Treasurer Marenda. Aldermen Sanders and Woodard were absent.
The Mayor noted the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open meeting
law.
COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR’S OFFICE
The Mayor wished everyone present a very Merry Christmas.
OLD BUSINESS
Reso. #237-98 - Approve New and Revised Positions. Slocomb moved to
reconsider. Salentine seconded, motion carried. Salentine moved to amend to
add “With starting date of 12/23/98” after the creation of the one additional
police officer position. Slocomb seconded, motion carried. Resolution #237-98
As Amended was adopted 5-0.
LICENSES
Pionek moved to approve Temporary Class “B”/”Class B” Retailers License for
Muskego Icetronauts for 2/14/99. Patterson seconded, motion carried 5-0.
Slocomb moved to adjourn at 4:40 PM. Pionek seconded, motion carried.
Upon adjournment, Marenda gave Oath of Office to Police Officer Robert J.
Tromp.
