CM041598 COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD APRIL 15, 1998 The meeting was called to order at 8:10 PM by Mayor De Angelis. Also present were Aldermen Patterson, Pionek, Salentine, Sanders, Slocomb and Woodard and Clerk- Treasurer Marenda. Ald. D’Acquisto was absent. The Clerk-Treasurer stated the meeting was noticed in accordance with the Open Meeting law on 4/10/98 and amended on 4/14/98. The Clerk-Treasurer read the Notice of Closed Sessions. CLOSED SESSION #1 - Ald. Salentine moved to convene in Closed Session pursuant to §19.85(1)(g) Conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved, more specifically Superior Emerald Park, Inc. contested case. Ald. Patterson seconded, motion carried 6-0. The Council reconvened into open session. Reso. #58-98 - Resolution to Hire Special Counsel Regarding Contested Case Hearing - Superior Emerald Park, Inc. Ald. Slocomb moved for adoption. Ald. Sanders seconded, carried 6-0. COMMITTEE REPORTS Ald. Pionek moved for acceptance of minutes of Special Public Works Committee meeting held 4/15/98. Ald. Woodard seconded, motion carried. Ord. #960 - An Ordinance to Amend the Zoning Map of the City of Muskego (North Cape Road - R-2 to RSE and R-3 to RSE). First Reading. CITY OFFICIALS’ REPORTS - Clerk-Treas. Marenda requested review of the May th calendar to set a date for Committee of the Whole meeting. Tentative date of May 7 at 7:00 PM was set. CLOSED SESSION #2 - Ald. Salentine moved to convene into Closed Session pursuant to §1985(1)(c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employe over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercised responsibility, more specifically employee compensation and classification study. Ald. Sanders seconded, motion carried 6-0. Council reconvened into open session.
