COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD JULY 16, 1997
The meeting was called to order at 6:48P.M. by Mayor De Angelis. Also present
were Aldermen D’Acquisto (arrv. 7:22 P.M.), Patterson, Pionek, Salentine, Sanders,
Slocomb and Woodard, Clerk-Treasurer Marenda, and Finance Director Gunderson
The Clerk-Treasurer reported that the meeting was noticed in accordance with the
Open Meeting Law on 7/14/97.
Salentine moved to convene into Closed Session in accordance with 19.85(1)(e)
Wis.Stats., Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the
investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever
competitive or bargaining reasons required a closed session, more specifically
acquisition of land for the proposed library. Action may be taken in closed Session.
Slocomb seconded, motion carried 6-0. It was noted the Common Council will then
reconvene into Open Session for the continuation of agenda items.
D’Acquisto arrived while the Council was still in Closed Session.
The Council reconvened into Open Session.
NEW BUSINESS.
Reso. #161-97 - Offer to Purchase (Library). Salentine moved to adopt. Pionek
seconded, motion carried 7-0.

CITY OFFICIALS’ REPORTS
Marenda reported a liquor license revocation hearing was necessary due to a
complaint filed regarding B. J. Macks license. It was determined a quorum could be
present to hear the case on 7/29/97 and 8/11/97.
Marenda also reminded the Aldermen they were meeting as the Big Muskego Lake
Commissioners on 7/17/97 at 7:00 PM.
Slocomb moved to adjourn at 7:40 P.M. Seconded by Sanders, motion carried.
