MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 4, 1996
The meeting was called to order at 6:35 P.M. by Mayor De
Angelis. Also present were Aldermen Patterson, Pionek,
Rasmussen, Salentine, Sanders and Suhr and Clerk-Treasurer
Marenda. Ald. D'Acquisto was absent.
Marenda reported the meeting was noticed in accordance with the
Open Meeting Law.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
meeting held 8/28/96. Salentine seconded, motion carried.
Sanders moved to accept minutes of Public Utilities Committee
NEW BUSINESS
City of Muskego and Municipal Well & Pump - Well No. 7
Reso. #196-96 - Authorization to Conclude Contract between the
Construction (MW-18-95). Sanders moved for adoption.
Salentine seconded. Utilities Supt. Scott Kloskowski explained
the inability to get water from the well as drilled due to
unusual circumstances in the formations. The experts have
Utilities Committee has recommended trying to salvage this well
advised abandoning the well and starting over. The Public

30 ft. is estimated at $170,000-$200,000. The Utilities

Patterson seconded. Due to cost the project will be publicly

Marenda reported all City Departments had submitted their
Operating Budgets as scheduled, and thanked them for their
promptness. They will be entered into the computer, assembled
and distributed tomorrow.
Salentine moved to adjourn at 6:58 P.M. Sanders seconded,
motion carried.
