MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD JUNE 11, 1996
The meeting was called to order at 9:05 P.M. by Mayor De Angelis. Also
present were Aldermen D'Acquisto, Patterson, Rasmussen, Salentine,
Deputy Clerk Blenski. Alderman Pionek was not present.
The Clerk-Treasurer reported that the meeting was noticed in accordance
with the Open Meetings Law on 6/7/96.
Salentine moved for approval of minutes of the 5/28/96 Common Council
meeting. Suhr seconded, carried.
The Clerk-Treasurer read the Notice of Closed Session.
COMMUNICATIONS PROM THE MAYOR'S OFFICE
Mayor presented an update on the Cell Tower issue. Another
informational hearing will be held in the future. Mayor also stated a
group of Waukesha municipalities met with the Secretary from the Dept.
of Revenue to discuss changing how land use is applied in the state.

D'Acquisto moved for acceptance of the minutes of the 6/5/96 and
6/11/96 Finance Committee Meetings. Sanders seconded, carried.
Utilities Committee Meeting. Sanders seconded, carried.
Salentine moved for acceptance of the minutes of the 6/3/96 Public
Minutes of the 6/4/96 Plan Commission Meeting and 5/22/96 Library Board
Meeting were received and placed on file.
OLD BUSINESS
Ord. #E93 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 18 of the Municipal Code of
the City of Muskego to Create Section 18.27 (Wetlands). On the floor,
deferred 5/28/96. As the Council did not receive the ordinance review
prepared by Director of Planning, Matt Sadowski, in advance, it was
determined that the Council would review the memo and contact Mr.
Sadowski with any inquiries. Suhr moved to defer. Salentine seconded,
carried.
Ord. #E73 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 17, Section 17:3.04(4)C of
Boundaries/OLS Lakeshore District). On the floor, deferred 5/28/96.

D'Acquisto moved for approval of Operators' Licenses for Michael
Erickson, Monica Pawlak, Patti Grove, Tanya Rick, Cassandra Dunaway,
and Gail Turenne, with license for G. Turenne subject to 3, 6 & 9 month
review. Suhr seconded, carried.
D'Acquisto moved for Approval of General Vouchers in the amount of
$521,050.66. Sanders seconded. Carried 6-0.
D'Acquisto moved for Approval of Tax Checks in the amount of $1,482.39.
Salentine seconded. Carried 6-0.
Sanders moved for Approval of Utility Vouchers in the amount of
$882,727.81. Rasmussen seconded. Carried 6-0.
CITY OFFICIALS' REPORTS
Clerk-Treasurer reported that public hearinqs will be held on July 9 at
7:20 PM to consider petition of Kent Campbell to rezone property on
Loomis Drive and at 7:25 to consider petition of Virginia Habermeyer to
rezone property. It was determined that the special assessment public
hearings regarding the Loomis/North Cape Sewer Projects and two
rezoning public hearings for properties in the area affected by the
proposed projects would be held on Thursday, July 11 beginning at 7:OO
P.M.
COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS AS AUTHORIZED BY LAW
Rasmussen requested feedback on librarv issues. Mavor stated the item
should be placed on the next Council agenda. It was also determined
that the firing range issue be placed on the next Public Services
Committee agenda.
Mayor stated unless a Council member requested, it was not necessary to
go into Closed Session as there was nothing new to report on either
issue.
Salentine moved to adjourn at 9:54 P.M. Suhr seconded, carried.
