MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 24, 1993
The meeting was called to order at 7:59 P.M. by Mayor De Angelis.

Taube, and Woodard, City Clerk Marenda, City Attorney Molter, and
Deputy Clerk Blenski.

COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR'S OFFICE
Mayor stated that Lynn Torgerson of the DNR will appear at Public Works
meeting to be held Thursday, August 26 at 7:OO P.M.
An Informational Public Hearing will be held Wednesday, Sept. 1 at 7:OO
P.M. to discuss the Curbside Garbage/Recycling Program.
Mayor read Proclamation acknowledging Lawrence Kirch's accomplishments
as Planning Director. Mr. Kirch will be leaving his position with the
City.
PERSONAL APPEARANCES
Mr. Donald Vilione of Conlev McDonald aave a brief summarv of the 1992

Plan Commission minutes of meeting held 8/17/93 were received and placed
on file.
Reso. #203-93 - Approval of Agreement with Muskego/Norway School
District for Liaison Officer. Patterson moved for adoption. Sanders
seconded. Patterson stated a letter was received on 8/24/93 from the
School District Office stating that if D.A.R.E. grant money is received,
it will be used to offset the City's cost for the officer. Carried 7-0.
Reso. #204-93 - Approval of Final Plat - Le May's Long Lake Acres Town
of Norway. Taube moved for adoption. Sanders seconded. Carried 6-1
with Schneider casting the only "no" vote.
Reso. #205-93 - Approval of Certified Survey Map - May. Taube moved
for adoption. Schneider seconded. Carried 7-0.
Reso. #206-93 - Resolution to Establish Fees for Rescue Service
($131 plus supplies). Patterson moved for adoption. Sanders seconded.
Taube objects to billing for the supplies. Carried 6-1 with Taube

Reso. #208-93 - Partial Acceptance of Improvements-Settler's Creek
(Sanitary Sewer and Storm Sewer). Sanders moved for adoption. Dumke
seconded. Carried 7-0.
Reso. #209-93 - Authorize Execution of Easement Document for WEPCO.
Patterson moved for adoption. Woodard seconded. It was suggested that
City negotiate a future junction box and connection for proposed Parks
outbuilding in exchange for easement. Parks Director to identify where

LICENSE APPROVAL
Genevieve Brown, Lisa Chase, Theresa Green, and Diane Grund
Patterson moved for approval of Operator's Licenses for Dayle Anderson,
subject to favorable police reports. Taube seconded, carried.
Patterson moved for approval of Temporary Operators' Licenses for
Jerome Neary and Robert Loh for August 28 for Muskego Corvette Club.
Schneider seconded, carried.
Muskego Community Festival for Norman Chaput, JoAnne Chaput, Carrie
Patterson moved for approval of Temporary Operators' Licenses for
Williams and Robert Reinke for August 27, 28, and 29, 1993. Taube
seconded, carried.
Temporary "Class B" to Sell Wine for Muskego Community Festival 8/27 - Patterson moved for approval of Temporary Class "B" to Sell Beer and
8/29/93. Taube seconded. Carried 7-0.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Patterson moved for approval of payment of General Vouchers in the
amount of $852,758.59" Misko Seconded. Carried 7-0.
Sanders moved for approval of payment of Utility Vouchers in the amount
of $53,705.32. Schneider seconded. Carried 7-0.
CITY OFFICIALS' REPORTS
Clerk reported that Public Hearings will be held on September 14 to
consider amendments to Chapters 14, 17, and 18 beginning at 7:lO P.M.
CO"NICATI0NS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS AS AUTHORIZED BY LAW
Patterson again reminded everyone of the Informational Public Hearing to
be held on Wednesday, September 1 at City Hall.
Mayor stated Big Muskego Lake District Annual Meeting is to be held on
Monday, August 30 at 7:OO P.M.
Misko moved to adjourn at 11:45 P.M. Schneider seconded, carried.
