MINUTES OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING HELD APRIL 16, 1991
Called to order by Mayor Salentine at 7:lO P.M. Also present were Aldermen Dumke, Hilt, Patterson, D. Sanders, H. Sanders, Taube and
Simmons, City Clerk Marenda and Municipal Judge Peter D. Lentz.
Judge Lentz spoke to those present on the effort, gumption, and energy
needed to hold a public office and administered the oaths of office to
William T. Simmons -- Alderman District 2, David D. Taube -- Alderman
District 4, David J. Sanders -- Alderman District 6, and Edwin P.
Dumke -- Adlerman District 7.
Each newly elected Alderman made a few comments.
City Clerk Marenda acted as ballot clerk.
ELECTION OF COUNCIL PRESIDENT
On the nominating ballot, the following votes were cast:
Ald. Hilt 4
Ald. Patterson 2
Ald. Taube 1
On the first election ballot, the following votes were cast:
Ald. Hilt 4
Ald. Patterson 3
Alderman Hilt was elected President of the Common Council.
ELECTION OF COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE TO PLAN COMMISSION
On the nominating ballot, the following votes were cast:
Ald. D. Sanders 5
Ald. Patterson 2
On the first election ballot, the following votes were cast:
Ald. D. Sanders 6
Ald. Patterson 1
Alderman D. Sanders was elected to serve as Council representative
to the Plan Commission.

Ald. Taube was elected to serve as Council representative to the
Little Muskego Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District.
Mayor announced the Committee appointments would remain the same as
the past year:
