MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 9, 1991
The meeting was called to order at 7:40 P.M. by Mayor Salentine.
Also present were Aldermen Dumke, Hilt, Patterson, D. Sanders, H.
Marenda.
Sanders, Simmons and Taube, City Attorney Molter and City Clerk
Hilt moved for approval of the Common Council minutes of March 26,
1991. Dumke seconded, carried.
COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR'S OFFICE
Police Chief John Johnson presented a plaque of appreciation to Water
Patrolman Gerald Warda for 18 years of service.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
H. Sanders presented Finance Committee minutes of meetings held April
3 and April 9, 1991 and moved for acceptance. Hilt seconded.
Carried.
March 28, 1991 and moved for acceptance. Dumke seconded. Carried.
Simmons presented Public Works Committee minutes of meeting held
Taube presented Rules, Laws, and Ordinance Committee minutes of
meeting held April 4, 1991 and moved for acceptance. H. Sanders
of the proposed amendment to Chapter 17, Section 6.04(4)G.2.c before
seconded. Taube made a motion to add the word "no" to the 4th line
the words "...more than three homes..." D. Sanders seconded. Carried.
Simmons moved for acceptance of Public Safety Committee minutes of
meetings held March 19, March 20, March 25, April 4, and April 8,
1991. Hilt seconded. Carried.

Plan Commission minutes of meeting held April 2, 1991 were received
OLD BUSINESS
Reso. #43-91 - Approval of Preliminary Plat - Country Brook
Estates. On floor, deferred from March 26, 1991. D. Sanders spoke
in favor of park and bridge. Taube strongly in favor of bridge.
Simmons felt people in area opposed. Hilt moved to amend Paragraph 3
to add "conditionally" after the word "hereby" and to add
Simmons seconded. Carried. Simmons called for the question. Taube
"conditioned on DNR approving the floodplain line as it exists."

Muskego (RS-2 to RSM/OPD) (Lutheran Inc. For Elderly -- L.I.F.E.).
Ord. #709 - An Ordinance to Amend the Zoning Map of the City of

Reso. #71-91 - Proceeding by the Common Council of the City of
(Ferguson). Introduced. Public Hearing ordered for May 28, 1991.
Reso. #72-91 - Approval of Certified Survey Map (Industrial Park
Addition -- R.J. Mueller). D. Sanders moved for adoption, Patterson
seconded. Carried 7-0.
Reso. #73-91 - Approval of Preliminary Plat (Golden Bay
Subdivision -- Town of Waterford). D. Sanders moved for adoption,
Hilt seconded. Carried 7-0.
Reso. #74-91 - Approval of Certified Survey Map (Town of Norway --
Fritz). D. Sanders moved for adoption, Patterson seconded. Carried
7-0.
Reso. #75-91 - Authorizing Execution of the 1991 Labor Agreement
Between the Muskego Police Association and the City of Muskego.
Dumke moved for adoption, H. Sanders seconded. H. Sanders moved to
amend to add: "Be it further resolved that the Clerk is directed to
reimburse the Special Services Sergeant/Juvenile Officer for salary
adjustment of 1% to be applied as of 12/31/86 as negotiated by the
Negotiating Committee." Dumke seconded. Carried. Resolution #75-91
as amended adopted 7-0.

Project (Western Landscape Contractors -- $105,405.50). Dumke moved
for adoption, Taube seconded. Carried 7-0.
Reso. #78-91 - Approval of Final Payment to FLOW. Patterson moved
for adoption, D. Sanders seconded. Carried 7-0.
Ord. #712 - An Ordinance to Repeal and Recreate Chapter 14 of the
Municipal Code of the City of Muskego (Flood Plain Ordinance). First
Reading. D. Sanders was requested to research differences between
the current and proposed Ordinance.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Hilt moved for approval of payment of General Vouchers in the amount
of $279,322.21. H. Sanders seconded. Carried 7-0.
Simmons moved for approval of payment of Utility Vouchers in the
amount of $22,450.50. Hilt seconded. Carried 7-0.
Clerk acknowledged receipt of a petition from Craig E. Andersen for
with public hearing to be held April 23, 1991 at 7:20 PM.

will be held April 16, 1991 at 7:OO PM with Plan Commission meeting
Clerk announced that the Organizational Meeting of the Common Council
at 8:OO PM.
Patterson announced that the first recycling at Stoneridge Landfill
went well on April 6. Will continue at Stoneridge the first and
third Saturdays of the month.
Mayor announced the Big Muskego Lake District will have a meeting to
review Wind Lake Management Plan on Monday, April 29, 1991 at 7:OO PM.
On Saturday, April 27, 1991 at 1O:OO AM, Representative Gerald
Kleczka will hold an informational meeting with elected officials at
Muskego City Hall.
H. Sanders moved to adjourn at 10:45 P.M. Simmons seconded, carried.
