MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 8, 1991.
The meeting was called to order at 7:56 p.m. by Mayor
Salentine. Also present were Aldermen Dumke, Hilt, Patterson, D.
Sanders, H. Sanders, Simmons and Taube, City Attorney Molter and
City Clerk Marenda.
Hilt moved for approval of the Common Council minutes of December
19, 1990. Dumke seconded, carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
H. Sanders presented Finance Committee minutes of January 2, 1991
and January 8, 1991 and moved for acceptance. Hilt seconded,
carried.
Simmons presented the Public Safety Committee minutes of January

for approval. Taube seconded. Clerk read withdrawal of petition
from Vilah Davis. H. Sanders moved to table. Taube seconded,
carried, 7-0.
NEW BUSINESS:
Reso.#l-91 - Authorizing the Execution of Mutual Aid Agreement
moved for adoption. Taube seconded, carried 7-0.

(Hillendale/Highway L Water Project). Hilt moved for adoption.
Reso.#5-91 - A Resolution Honoring City of Muskego Eagle Scout
(Brian M. Weber). Hilt moved for adoption. Patterson seconded,
carried 7-0.
Reso. #6-91 - Authorizing General Obligation Borrowing Not to
Exceed $5,000,000. Hilt moved for adoption. Dumke seconded.
Seegar Swanson of Ehlers and Associates explained the procedure
for the borrowing, recommending General Obligation Bonds.
Carried, 7-0.
Reso.l6A-91 - Directing Publication of Notice. Dumke moved for
adoption. H. Sanders seconded, carried 7-0.
Reso.7-91 - Approval of the Preliminary Plat for Suburban Heights
Simmons seconded. Discussion was held regarding the existing
(Clarence Froelich property). D. Sanders moved for adoption.

Community Block Grant Fund Requests was removed from agenda.
Ord.#704 - To Amend Chapter 32 of the City of Muskego Municipal
Code (Fire Prevention Code). First Reading.
LICENSE APPROVAL
H. Sanders moved for approval of Operator's Licenses for Jon
Zaeske, Kathleen Murphy, Mary Thomas, Marie Deschaine, Jonathan
Marshner subject to favorable police reports. Hilt seconded,
Grantz, Jamie Byrnes, Antoinette Woolsey, Paul Matakovic, Brian
carried.

VOUCHER APPROVAL
Hilt moved for approval of payment of 1990 General Vouchers in
the amount of $1,996,947.11 and $154,800.10 for 1991. Dumke
seconded, carried 7-0.
Hilt moved for approval of payment of 1990 Utility Vouchers in
the amount of $35,278.72. D. Sanders seconded, carried 7-0.
CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS
Attorney Molter advised that the PSC has signed an order
dismissing the City as required in the MMSD agreement.
The acceptance of donated lots on Holz Drive will be referred to
the Finance Committee for authorization to pay taxes.
Mayor Salentine invited the aldermen to attend the Open Forum he
is holding at City Hall on Saturday, January 12, 1991 from 9:30 -
12:OO Noon on City issues, particularly the MMSD settlement.
Hilt moved to adjourn at 1O:OO p.m. H. Sanders seconded,
carried.
