CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING HELD DECEMBER 19, 1990.
The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. by Mayor
Salentine. Present were Mayor Salentine, Aldermen Dumke, Hilt,
Patterson, D. Sanders, H. Sanders, Simmons and Taube (arrived at
7:42 p.m.), City Attorney Molter and City Clerk Marenda.
Hilt moved for approval of the Common Council minutes of December
11, 1990. Dumke seconded, carried.
Mayor read Notice of Closed Session as noted on the agenda.
COMMITTEE KEPORTS
H. Sanders presented the Finance Committee minutes of the meeting
held December 19, 1990 and moved for acceptance. Dumke seconded,
carried.
Simmons presented the Utility Committee minutes of December 13,
1990 and moved for acceptance. D. Sanders seconded. There were
no objections to the purchase of water meters as approved by the
Committee even though resolution not offered. Motion carried.
D. Sanders presented Public Welfare Committee minutes of December
10, 1990 and moved for acceptance. Patterson seconded, carried.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Reso. #282-90 - Confirming the Selection of Director of
seconded. Hilt moved to amend to change the starting date from
Information Systems. Hilt moved for reconsideration. Simmons
January loth, 1991 to January 2, 1991. Dumke seconded,
carried. Resolution t282-90 as amended adopted 7-0.

Reso. 11293-90 - Creating the Position of Utility Maintenance
Person. Simmons moved for adoption. Hilt seconded, carried 7-0.

LICENSE APPROVAL
H. Sanders moved for approval of Operator's License for Kenneth
Grenz, subject to receipt of a favorable police report. Hilt
seconded, carried.
Hilt moved to approve Gathering Permits for St. Leonard's
Congregation for dates of February 9, 1991 and October 12,
1991. Simmons seconded, carried 7-0.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Hilt moved for approval of payment of General Vouchers in the
amount of $150,903.19. H. Sanders seconded, carried 7-0.
Hilt moved for approval of Utility Vouchers in the amount of
$5,756.22. D. Sanders seconded, carried 7-0.
CLOSED SESSION :
0 Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties,
Hilt moved to go into Closed Session pursuant to §19.85(1)(e),
the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified
public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons
require a Closed Session, more specifically concerning MMSD
negotiations. D. Sanders seconded, carried 7-0.
The meeting reconvened into Open Session.
Reso. #295-90 - Ratifying Addendum to Intergovernmental
CooDeration Aereement between the City of MuskeEo and Milwaukee
Met;opolitan Sewerage District, Hilt-moved for-adoption.
Simmons seconded. Attorney Molter noted the Agreement would
become final upon signing in all respects, subject to dismissal
of the City of Muskego from the PSC case within one month, and
months, or this Agreement would be null and void. Resolution
the ability of the City of Muskego to obtain financing within 6
fE95-90 adopted 7-0.
Patterson moved to adjourn at 9:55 p.m. Dumke seconded, carried.
