MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 26, 1990
were Aldermen Dumke (arrived 9:20 p.m.) Hilt, Patterson, H.
Called to order at 9:00 p.m. by Mayor Salentine. Also present
Marenda. Alderman D. Sanders was absent.
Sanders, Simmons and Taube, Attorney Macy and City Clerk
Hilt moved for approval of minutes of meetings held June 12 and 20, 1990. Patterson seconded, carried.
Library Director Holly Sanhuber presented an award to Library
Board president Ray Christenson which was received for the
Wisconsin Libraries, wherein the Library received first place.
Library's participation in a contest sponsored by Friends of
Ms. Sanhuber also explained a $5,000.00 grant received from
Waukesha County Federated Library System for the purchase of a
video collection.
Clerk read Proclamation declaring July, 1990 as Parks &
Recreation month.
COMMITTEE MINUTES
H. Sanders presented Finance Committee minutes of June 20 & 26,
1990 and moved for acceptance. Hilt seconded, carried.
Patterson presented Public Welfare Committee minutes of June 14,
1990 and moved for acceptance. Simmons seconded, carried.
Simmons presented Public Utilities Committee minutes of June 21,
1990 and moved for acceptance. Hilt seconded, carried.

LICENSE APPROVAL
Regal, Kathy Kratz, Matthew A. Wal, William Merkwae, Nancy Crewz,
H. Sanders moved for approval of operator's licenses for Rachelle
Mildred Dubey and James Hunt subject to favorable police
reports. Dumke seconded, carried.
H. Sanders moved for approval of Refuse Haulers Permit for the
City of Waukesha-Incinerator. Hilt seconded, carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
H. Sanders moved for approval of payment of General Vouchers in
the amount of $250,310.88. Hilt seconded, carried 6-0.
Hilt moved for approval of payment of Utility Vouchers in the
amount of $63,117.19. H. Sanders seconded, carried 6-0.
The Council authorized payment of $1,146.89 by the Big Muskego
Lake District for balance due on purchase of drag net.
Taube moved to adjourn at 10:30 p.m. Simmons seconded, carried.
