MINUTES OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING HELD APRIL 17, 1990
Called to order by Mayor Salentine at 7:07 P.M. Also present
were Aldermen Dumke, Hilt, Patterson, H. Sanders, D. Sanders,
Taube and Simmons, and City Clerk Marenda.
Circuit Court Judge Willis J. Zick made a brief presentation and
Jean K. Marenda, City Clerk/Comptroller, Jean A. Sanders,
administered the oath of office to Wayne G. Salentine, Mayor,
Treasurer, Paul M. DeAngelis, Sr., Assessor, Peter D. Lentz,
Municipal Judge, Patrick A. Patterson, Alderman District I,
Daniel J. Hilt, Alderman District 111, Harold L. Sanders,
Alderman District V.
Each newly elected official made a few remarks.
City Clerk Marenda acted as ballot clerk.
ELECTION OF COUNCIL PRESIDENT
On the nominating ballot, the following votes were cast:
Ald. Hilt 3
Ald. Simmons 3
Ald. H. Sanders 1
On the first election ballot, the following votes were cast:
Ald. Hilt 4
Ald. Simmons 3
Ald. Hilt was elected President of the Common Council.
ELECTION OF COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE TO THE PLAN COMMISSION
On the nominating ballot, the following votes were cast:
Ald. D. Sanders 4
Ald. Taube 2
Ald. Simmons 1
On the first election ballot, the following votes were cast:
Ald. D. Sanders 5
Ald. Taube 2
Ald. D. Sanders was elected to serve as Council representative to
the Plan Commission.

On the nominating ballot, the following votes were cast:

On the first election ballot, the following votes were cast:
Ald. Taube 6
Ald. H. Sanders 1
Ald. Taube was elected to serve as Council representative to the
Little Muskego Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District.
Mayor advised that Committee appointments will be made at the
April 24, 1990, Common Council meeting.
Hilt moved to adjourn at 7:30 P.M. H. Sanders seconded, carried.
