MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD APRIL 4,1990
Meeting called to order at 7:40 p.m. by Mayor Salentine. Also
present were Aldermen Dumke (arrived 7:50 p.m.), Hilt, Patterson,
and City Clerk Marenda. Staff members also present were Gene
D. Sanders, H. Sanders, Simmons, and Taube, City Attorney Molter
Johnson, Paul DeAngelis, Laura Mecha and Jean Zaremba.
Kovacs, Cathie Anderson, Scott Kloskowski, John Loughney, John
Mayor Salentine introduced FLOW’S staff attorney Atty. Charles
Mulcahy, engineer Bill Mielke, financial consultant Seegar
Swanson and City Attorney Donald Molter.
H. Sanders moved to convene into Closed Session pursuant to
§19.85(1)(e), Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of
public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting
other specified public business, whenever competitive or
bargaining reasons require a closed session, more specifically to
discuss the proposed agreement with MMSD and further pursuant to
§19.85(l)(g), Confering with legal counsel for the governmental
body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy
to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it
is or is likely to become involved, more specifically litigation
with MMSD, and also pursuant to §19.85(l)(g), Confering with
legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or
written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with
respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become
matters, formal action may be taken in Closed Session. Taube
involved, more specifically as to Emerald Park. As to these
seconded, carried 6-0. (Dumke absent)
Simmons moved to reconvene into Open Session. Dumke seconded,
carried.
Reso.t78-90 - Resolution Approving the Settlement Agreement with
the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District. Sanders moved for
adoption. Simmons seconded, carried 7-0.
Patterson moved to adjourn at 10:24 p.m. Hilt seconded, carried.
