ccm19891207COMMON COUNCIL CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUTES OF SPEC IAL MEETING HELD DECEMBER 7, 1989 Called to order at 7:04 p.m by Chairman Salentine. Also present were Aldermen Dumke, Hilt, Patterson, D. Sanders, H. Sanders, Simmons and Taube and City Clerk Marenda. Taube moved to convene into Closed Session pursuant to §19.85(1)(c), to discuss the employment of professional advisors, (l)(e) to discuss legislative strategy and to discuss and deliberate with respect to a renewal service contract and bargaining therefore, and under (l)(g) to confer with legal counsel to discuss advice concerning strategy with respect to litigation in which FLOW is or is likely to become involved. As to these matters, formal action may be taken in Closed Session. Simmons seconded, carried 7-0. Council reconvenened into Open Session. H. Sanders moved for adoption of Resolution #311-89 to state "WHEREAS, the City of Muskego is interested in a settlement of the FLOW vs. MMSD issue. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego does hereby approve the this matter. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is authorized concept of continued mediation and binding arbitration to resolve to sign the necessary legal documents in the name of the City." Dumke seconded, carried 7-0. Hilt moved to adjourn at 8:15 p.m. Patterson seconded, carried. Respectfully submitted,
