Alderman were Aldermen Dumke, Hilt, Patterson, Repischak, Sanders and Penovich was absent. Hilt moved to approve minutes of meeting held March 28, 1989. Dumke seconded, carried. COMMITTEE REPORTS Dumke presented minutes of Finance Committee meeting of April 5, 1989 and moved for acceptance. Hilt seconded, carried. Hilt presented minutes of Finance Committee meeting of April 11, 1989 and moved for acceptance. Dumke seconded, carried. Patterson presented minutes of Rules, Laws h Ordinance Committee meeting of April 3, 1989 and moved for acceptance. Repischak seconded, carried. Reso.886-89 - Approval of Waukesha County Visitors Bureau Membership. Hilt moved for adoption. Dumke seconded. It was the consensus that due to the lack of hotels, conference centers or other tourist attractions in the City, it would not benefit the City to participate in the Visitors Bureau. Motion was defeated 6-0. Reso.W87-89 - Acceptance of Quote - Public Works Department Truck. Dumke moved for adoption. Sanders seconded. Since the over-budget cost of the truck will not be recouped until the existing truck is sold, Hilt moved to amend the Resolution to add: "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that payment for this truck shall be made with $57,000.00 coming from the Capital Outlay Account and $3,325.00 from the Contingency Account. Taube seconded, carried 6-0. Resolution #87-89, as amended. adopted 6-0. Reso.885-89 - Hilt moved to reconsider. Taube seconded, carried 6-0. Hilt moved to amend the amount transferred from Contingency from $lO,OOO.OO to $13,325.00, with $10,000.00 to the Capital Projects Fund and $3,325.00 to the Capital Outlay Fund. Taube seconded. It was noted that the sale of the existing truck will bring in revenue. Motion carried 6-0. Resolution #85-89, as amended, adopted 6-0. Reso.t88-89 - Expressing Appreciation to Mitchel Penovich. Ord.#642 - An Ordinance to Amend the Zoning Map of the City of Muskego (Bushberger - RS-2 to KSM) First reading. Alderman Hilt requested a report from the Plan Commission on the surrounding area. Dumke requested that a school impact study be submitted and a report be presented by the Assessor and the Planning h be built in the areas currently zoned RSM; the number of approved Development Department to include the number of units that could lots in RSM, and the current number of multi-family units broken down by the number of bedrooms per unit. Ord.#646 - An Ordinance to Create Section 7.05(2) of the Municipal Code of the City of Muskego (Restricting Overnight Parking on City Streets in the City of Muskego) First reading. LICENSE APPROVAL - Hilt moved for approval of operator's licenses for Robert Bertram. Kristin Johnson. Clifford Saver and David Preiss. Dumke seconded, carried. VOUCHER APPROVAL - Hilt moved for approval of payment of General Vouchers in the amount of $185.397.06. Dumke seconded, carried 6-0. Sanders moved for approval of payment of Utility Vouchers in the amount of $29.688.87. Repischak seconded, carried 6-0. CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS The Clerk acknowledged receipt of petition for rezoning from RS- Public Hearing would be held on April 25, 1989 at 7:20 p.m. This 2/0LS to RS-2/0LS/OD submitted by Harold DeBack and noted a request was referred to the Plan Commission for review and recommendation. Atty. Molter reported that he received a copy of a letter from the DNR to Emerald Park dated March 28, 1989 which stated they had not received all materials necessary for the feasibility report, and therefore the time table for the contested case has not yet begun. Mayor Salentine reported on his meeting with the League of Wisconsin Municipalities Legislative Committee to neutralize their position on non-support of the proposed landfill legislation changes. Alderman Patterson invited civic organizations concerned with Committee meeting on April 13, 1989 at 8:OO p.m. at City Hall. recycling and youth activities to attend the Public Welfare Hilt moved to adjourn at 9:17 p.m. Repischak seconded. @ty Clerk
