MINUTES OF ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING HELD APRIL 21, 1987
Called to order by Chairman Salentine at 7:06 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen DeAngelis, Dumke, Hilt, Patterson (arr.
7:11 P.M.), Penovich, Sanders and Taube and City Clerk Stewart.
Mayor Salentine introduced Municipal Judge Peter Lentz who made
a few opening comments before administering the Oath of Office
to the following elected aldermen: Mitchel Penovich, District
11; David Taube, District IV; Frank DeAngelis, District VI;
and, Edwin P. Dumke, District VII. Each alderman commented
briefly.
ELECTION OF COUNCIL PRESIDENT
City Clerk Stewart and Deputy Clerk Marenda acted as ballot
clerks.
On the nominating ballot, the following votes were cast:
Ald. Dumke 6
Ald. Penovich 1
On the first election ballot, the following votes were cast:
Ald. Dumke 7
Ald. Dumke was elected as President of the Common Council.
ELECTION OF COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE TO THE PLAN COMMISSION
On the nominating ballot, the following votes were cast:
Ald. Penovich 3
Ald. Taube 2
Ald. DeAngelis 1
Ald. Hilt 1
On the first election ballot, the following votes were cast:
Ald. Taube
Ald. Penovich 4 2
Ald. DeAngelis 1
On the second election ballot, the following votes were cast:
Ald. Penovich 5
Ald. Taube 2
Ald. Penovich was elected to serve as Council representative to
the Plan Commission.

On the nominating ballot, the following votes were cast:

On the first election ballot, the following votes were cast:
Ald. Taube was elected to serve as Council representative to
the Little Muskego Lake District.
ADJOURNMENT - Ald. Patterson moved to adjourn at 7:26 P.M.
Seconded by Ald. Taube, motion carried.
