ccm198610140 COMMON COUNCIL CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 14, 1986 were Aldermen DeAngelis, Dumke, Hilt, Patterson, Penovich, Called to order by Chairman Salentine at 7:45 P.M. Also present Sanders and Taube, City Clerk Stewart and City Atty. Molter. Mayor read Notice of Closed Session. Patterson moved to convene conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is in Closed Session pursuant to §19.85(l)(g) for the purpose of rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is involved, and taking action on this matter in Closed Session, with reference to Marino vs. City of Muskego regarding the Woods Road Pumping Station portion of the Interceptor Sewer Project. Penovich seconded, carried 7-0. The Council reconvened in Open Session at 8:30 P.M. Penovich moved, Dumke seconded, to approve minutes of meeting held 9/23/86. Carried. 0 COMMUNICATIONS FROM MAYOR'S OFFICE Clerk read Proclamation "Needs and Accomplishments of Mental Health". COMMITTEE REPORTS Penovich presented minutes of Finance Committee meetings held 9/24/86, 10/1/86, 10/8/86 and 10/14/86 and moved for acceptance. Dumke seconded, carried. Sanders presented minutes of Public Sewer Committee meeting held 9/25/86 and moved for acceptance. Hilt seconded, carried. held 10/2/86 and moved for acceptance. DeAngelis presented minutes of Public Welfare Committee meeting held 10/9/86 and moved for acceptance. Hilt seconded, carried. Patterson presented minutes of Public Water Committee meeting placed on file. Plan Commission minutes of meeting held 10/7/86 were received and NEW BUSINESS Reso.t220-86 - Authorizing Expenditure of Funds - Clearwater Technoloev. Penovich moved for adODtion. Sanders seconded. carried 7-0. Penovich establish actual debt of sewer utility through the audit. Motion seconded. Sewer Committee will discuss if auditors should carried 7-0. Reso.il223-86 - Setting Public Hearing Date - 1987 Budget and Federal Revenue Sharing Budget (11/10/86-7:00 P.M.) Penovich moved for adoption. Dumke seconded, carried 7-0. Reso.#224-86 - Approving Lease Between Carl Wauer and the City of Muskego for a Shooting Range for the Police Department. Penovich moved for adoption. DeAngelis seconded, carried 7-0. Reso.#225-86 - Correction of Assessment of the Verburgt Property and Division of Said Assessment. Penovich moved for adoption. Dumke seconded, carried 7-0. Reso.#226-86 - Approval of Certified Survey Map - Pipke. moved to amend last paragraph to read: Be it further resolved DeAngelis moved for adoption. Patterson seconded. DeAngelis that this approval is conditioned upon receipt of proof no later disposal facilities. Patterson seconded, carried. LICENSE APPROVAL - Penovich moved for approval of Operator's Licenses for John T. Meyers, Jr., Charmaine B. Brown, Pamela A. Markulin, Catherine J. Colla, Linda M. Martin, Lisa P. Duvall and Donald J. Kreitzer. Dumke seconded, carried. Hilt seconded, carried. Penovich moved for approval of alarm permit for Donald H. Dibb. Village. Dumke seconded, carried. Penovich moved to defer request for alarm permit for Value I 'a , VOUCHER APPROVAL - Penovich moved for approval of payment of General Vouchers in amount of $228,279.62. CITY OFFICIALS' REPORTS Clerk read letters received regarding senior citizen housing. Atty. Molter reported on dismissal of case against police officer, and DNR vs City of Muskego case. Mayor read notice of Closed Session. Patterson moved to convene in Closed Session pursuant to §19.85(1)(c) considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employe over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility specifically to discuss strategy for bargaining unit negotiations. Penovich seconded, carried 7-0. Meeting reconvened in Open Session.
