MINUTES OF ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING HELD APRIL 15, 1986.
Called to order by Chairman Salentine at 7:08 P.M. Also present
were Aldermen DeAngelis, Dumke, Hilt, Patterson, Penovich and
Taube, Clerk Stewart and City Atty. Molter.
Mayor Salentine introduced Waukesha Circuit Judge James Kieffer
who made a few comments on the responsibility of governmental
officials and then administered the Oaths of Office to the
following elected and appointed City officials:

0 Following the seating of the newly elected Alderman for the 5th
District, Harold L. Sanders, brief comments were made by him and
the other newly elected officials expressing appreciation to
their constituents for their support.
ELECTION OF COUNCIL PRESIDENT
City Clerk Stewart and Deputy Clerk Marenda acted as ballot
clerks.
On the nominating ballot the following votes were cast:
Ald. Dumke 5
Ald. Penovich 1
Ald. DeAngelis 1
On the first election ballot the following votes were cast:
Ald. Dumke 6
Ald. DeAngelis 1
Ald. Dumke was elected as President of the Common Council.

were interested in the position.

Ald. DeAngelis was elected to serve as Council Representative to
the Plan Commission.

PROTECTION AND REHABILITATION DISTRICT
0 Atty. Molter advised that the representative should live in the
Lake District.
