MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 11, 1986
Called to order by Chairman Salentine at 8:29 P.M. Also present
were Aldermen DeAngelis, Dumke, Hilt, Patterson, Penovich, Taube
and Tomczyk, City Clerk Stewart and City Attorney Molter.

Penovich moved, Patterson seconded, to approve minutes of meeting
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Penovich presented minutes of Finance Committee meeting held
2/11/86 and moved for acceptance. Tomczyk seconded, carried.
DeAngelis presented minutes of Public Welfare Committee meeting
held 2/6/86 and moved for acceptance. Tomczyk seconded. The
requirement for a cash bond for holding tanks was discussed, and
it was determined that it would not be required to require a bond
be available. DeAngelis advised that the Council must begin
in the normal single family situations, but that the option would
looking at future needs for solid waste disposal. Motion
carried.
Committee of the Whole minutes of meeting held 2110186 read by
Clerk. Tomczyk moved for acceptance. Penovich seconded,
carried.
Plan Commission minutes of 2/4/86 received and placed on file.

Clerk read Proclamation - Vocational Education Week - February 9-
15, 1986, and Mayor presented same to Carol J. Apuli, Vocational
Education Coordinator at Muskego High School.

Ord.#545 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 9, Section 9.01(1)D.(3)
of the Municipal Code (Discharging of Firearms). 2nd Reading.
Dumke moved for adoption. Penovich seconded. Dumke moved to
amend distance from 500' to 300'. Taube seconded, carried 6-1
with Penovich votin "no". Motion to adopt #545 carried 6-1 with
Penovich voting "no .
Ord.//546 - An Ordinance to Amend the Zoning Map of the City of
Muskego (Richter - RS-2 to RSA). 2nd Reading. Tomczyk moved for
adoption. Hilt seconded, carried 7-0.

Reso.#23-86 - Approval of Increase in Basic Cable TV Service Fee
and Directing the City Attorney to Draft the Ordinance to Amend
Chapter 12.19 of the Municipal Code. Tomczyk moved for
adoption. Penovich seconded. Dumke felt increase should not be

moved to amend the fourth paragraph to read as follows: Now,
it was determined that a Public Hearing was required, Penovich
therefore, be it resolved that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Plan Commission, does
hereby adopt the conce t of the proposed extension of Moorland
Road marked alternate 'A", and authorizes the setting of the
necessary public hearing. Patterson seconded, carried. Reso.

0 Reso.#31-86 - Acceptance of Offer to Purchase Parcel of Land in
Muskego Business/Industrial Park (Ingersoll Cable Corporation-
$45,000). Tomczyk moved for adoption. Dumke seconded. John
Ingersoll explained he intends to clean and aerate the pond on
the property and to construct an approximately 6000 sq.ft. two-
story office building and a 4000 sq. ft. maintenance facility, to
be later expanded to 10,000 sq. ft., with occupancy in late
1986. Carried 7-0.

Ord.#547 - An Ordinance to Amend the Zoning Map of the City of
Ord.#548 - An Ordinance Creating Section 9.36 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Muskego Relating to Obscene Materials and

LICENSE APPROVAL - Penovich moved for approval of Operators
License for Jeff Smith. Tomczyk seconded, carried.
Penovich moved for approval of Alarm System Permit for JSE
Electric. Hilt seconded, carried.
Penovich moved for approval of "Class B" Fermented Malt Beverage
and Intoxicating Liquor License for Wayne Hansen, W124 S9706
North Cape Road effective March 1, 1986, subject to approval of
the City Attorney. Tomczyk seconded, carried 7-0. 0 VOUCHER APPROVAL - Penovich moved to approve payment of General
7-0.
vouchers in amount of $303,265.68. Tomczyk seconded, carried
Penovich moved for approval of payment of Sewer Utility vouchers
in amount of $75,393.03. Dumke seconded, carried 7-0.
