ccm198511120 COMMON COUNCIL CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 12, 1985 Called to order by Chairman Salentine at 7:44 P.M. Also present were Aldermen DeAngelis, Dumke, Hilt, Patterson, Penovich, Taube and Tomczyk, City Clerk Stewart and City Attorney Molter. Penovich moved, Patterson seconded, to approve minutes of meetings held 10122185 and 11/7/85. Carried. COMMITTEE REPORTS Penovich presented minutes of Finance Committee meetings held 11/6/85 and 11/12/85 and moved for approval. Tomczyk seconded, carried. Tomczyk presented minutes of Public Works Committee meeting held 11/7/85 and moved for approval. DeAngelis seconded, carried. Minutes of Plan Commission meeting held 11/5/85 were received and placed on file. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Reso.#251-85 - Denial of Claim - A. Kuehr. On the floor, insurance company for further review by the claims adjuster. deferred 10/22/85. Penovich moved to defer and refer to the Tomczyk seconded, carried. NEW BUSINESS Reso.#274-85 - Relocation Order of the City of Muskego, Waukesha County, Wisconsin (St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church). Dumke moved for adoption. Hilt seconded, carried 7-0. Reso./t294-85 - Appreciation in Memory of Estel Ellery. DeAngelis moved for adoption. Taube seconded, carried 7-0. Michael Ellery accepted the resolution in memory of Mr. Ellery. Reso.#295-85 - Approval of 1986 Labor Agreement (Public Works Department). Tomczyk moved for adoption. DeAngelis seconded, carried 7-0. Reso.#296-85 - Authorizing Ruekert & Mielke to Prepare Plans and Patterson moved for adoption. Penovich seconded. Patterson Specifications and Advertise for Bids - Industrial Park Signs. moved to amend to request engineers to rework the logo to be more identifiable and use sign design No. 8 with easy maintenance landscaping and with two or four locations dependent on bids received, and to authorize expenditure of design work from TID #7. Reso.#303-85 - Resolution for Expansion of Contract Sewer Area seconded. With permission of Council, Scott Krause explained the for the City of Muskego. Tomczyk moved for adoption. Dumke area defined. Dumke requested the area be expanded to include those properties along Hwy. 00 to the north so sewer may be provided. Mr. Krause advised his plans included a force main along 00 which would not permit hook up without laying another be included in the sewer service area. After further discussion, sewer. Mayor advised Plan Commission recommended that area not Patterson moved to amend the map submitted by Mr. Krause to include all the R-3, B-2 and B-4, and strip of the R-2 west of 00 existing sewer service area and east to the city boundary, with the width of the R-3 to the south, going north to meet the the request that SEWRPC study the proposed area to determine the feasibility of including the corridor. Dumke seconded, carried 7-0. Res. 11303-85 As Amended adopted 7-0. LICENSE APPROVAL - Penovich moved for approval of Operator's Licenses for Cheryl Dunn, Steven Barker, Gary Fleming, Genevieve Morin, Beverly Dick and Kathi Tackman. Tomczyk seconded, carried. 0 General Vouchers in amount of $611,980.87. CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS - Clerk advised a public hearing would held at 1:25 P.M. on 11/26/85 to consider the Detition submitted by William Paschke for the. rezoning of properti on Hwy. 24 from RSM to RSM-OPD for the purpose of constructing the Villa del Rio apartments.
